Nicely played. Which one is the half though? You'll have different answers for body size and radio contribution.

I do agree with the name change. Not sure they do much to attain Saloon status, no good fights! lol

The ironic thing in all of this is that Jim Pastor has effectively hurt the ratings of two shows:

As Mac has taken away plenty of Waddle and Silvy's listeners.

And Boers and Bernstein have taken away Afternoon Saloon patrons.

...and I'm sure WSCR obliterates whatever national crap is airing between 1 and 2.

excellent point. if pastor had re-negotiated a lower contract with mac and dumped tiny teri hemmert, espn1000 would be sitting much better

This show is like Conan. Took some time to get used to it and now getting killed because they have no audience from 1-2 to lead into their show.

Partially agree, they have no lead in. People tune out for SVP.

When B&B are discussing sports they are exceptional. When they are not discussing sports they are almost always unlistenable for me. The saloon is blah and a lot of people can't stand Harry.

No because a lot of thier show while sports related isn't what I want to listen to.

I also have issues with Bernstein. He reminds me of that asshole in school that raises his hand with 10 minutes of class left and says are we taking that quiz today or should we hand in our homework. Or worse that "do we have to know dates?" kid in history. I like when he breaks something down or has a sport related point. I find his sense of humor a little confusing. For somebody worried about how smart and clever he is to other people some of the things he finds funny/jokes would seem beneath him.

I can't see ever defending them. I will keep them like they keep their audience - at an arm's length.
