Thanks Drop In. This is a tough topic. I'd have a 13-match card that would shake out like this:

Match 1: Christopher Daniels & A.J. Styles vs. Rey Mysterio & Kidman

Match 2: Rob Van Dam vs. Brian Pillman

Match 3: The Steiner Brothers vs. The British Bulldogs

Match 4: Samoa Joe vs. Vader

Match 5: Ted DiBiase Sr. & Ted DiBiase Jr. vs. Bob Orton & Randy Orton

Match 6: Jake Roberts vs. Chris Jericho

Match 7: Mr. Perfect & Rick Rude vs. Ric Flair & Arn Anderson

Match 8: Ricky Steamboat vs. C.M. Punk

Match 9: The Hart Foundation vs. Eddy Guerrero & Dean Malenko

Match 10: Kurt Angle vs. Owen Hart

Match 11: The Mega-Powers vs. Degeneration X (When Egos Collide)

Match 12: Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. John Cena vs. The Rock (Triple Threat)

MAIN EVENT: Sting vs. Undertaker

Interesting pick for Jericho, I think I would flip flop Punk and Jericho. I would love to see Steamboat vs. Jericho both in their prime. Other than that, I love your card.

I think Hogan & Savage vs. Shawn & Triple H would draw more. The promos alone would be something to behold.

I changed my main event a few times. Originally that was one of them.

Ivan, I really don't remember Taker ever tapping out to anybody.

I started to write a few down and then got carried away so I went with the concept that there are 2 companies and they each did a Wrestlemania and Starrcade card. I tried to keep the gimmick matches within each brand and each guy in their prime or when I like them most.

Wrestlemania

One hour countdown show on USA before PPV starts has a 20 man tag team battle royal to determine seeds in Tag Team Gauntlet Match at Mania. Has these 10 teams:

Midnight Express with Jim Cornette
British Bulldogs
New Age Outlaws
Steiners
Road Warriors
Edge & Christian
Demolition
Hardys
Dudleys
Arn & Tully

-----
Match 1
Macho Man Randy Savage with Miss Elizabeth
vs.
Chris Jericho
---------
#2: ( Cyber Sunday Style Options: Hair vs Hair Match, Cage Match, Inferno Match)
Jake the Snake Roberts
vs
HHH
------------
#3: Money in the Bank

Owen Hart, Low-Ki, Jerry Lynn, Brian Pillman,
RVD, Rey Mysterio, Sabu, Juvi Juice

---------------
#4 Battle of The Bad - Asses
Stan Hansen and Bruiser Brody
vs
Stone Cold and Goldberg
Special ref: Dr. Death
Special outside enforcer: Terry Gordy
---------------------
#5 2 out 3 falls
Bret Hitman Hart
vs
Kurt Angle
---------------
#6 Tag Team Gauntlet Match, entrance order determined from Battle Royal on pre-show:
Midnight Express with Jim Cornette
British Bulldogs
New Age Outlaws
Steiners
Road Warriors with Ellering
Edge & Christian
Demolition with Fuji
Hardys with Lita
Dudleys
Arn & Tully
-------------------
#7 Special Referee Vince Russo
Vince McMahon
vs
Eric Bischoff
----------------------
#8
Hulk Hogan
vs
Brock Lesnar (with Paul Heyman)

===============

Starrcade

Countdown show on TBS:
Sunny vs Lita vs Maryse in a 3-way...and i don't mean triple threat.original diva vs attitude era diva vs current diva.
--------
#1: War Games Match

Cactus Jack
Raven
Rick Rude
Don Muraco
Haku
vs
Ultimate Warrior
Bam Bam Bigelow
CM Punk
Jimmy Snuka
Razor Ramon
------------
#2
The Great Muta (with Gary Hart)
vs.
AJ Styles
-----------------
#3
Sid Vicious
vs
Samoa Joe
------------------
#4 battle of wwe's people's champ vs wcw's people's champ
The Rock
vs
DDP
-------------
#5 Texas death Match
Dusty Rhodes (NWA champ don't lay down fo nobody duthty rooooodes)
vs
Undertaker with Paul Bearer
----------------
#6 Survivor Series Match
Team Super-Heavyweights (managed by Bobby Heenan)
Andre the Giant
Big Van Vader
Umaga
Yokozuna
Big Show

vs

Team Work-Rate
Curt Hennig
Dean Malenko
Chris Benoit
Eddie Guerrero
Ricky Steamboat
---------------

I'd fork over my money for every single one of those matches. Jake vs Jericho promos woulda been awesome, angle vs owen is a true dream match and if match 11 actually happened the world would probably explode or at least trigger the apocalypse

Bob, love the Great Muta match, that would be great. Muta vs. HBK or Jericho would be nice as well.

Good concept Bob, with the two cards. There are just too many legends to put on one show.

This is a fun exercise. I think I might do another one...

You guys are pretty good at this. I didn't really get into wrestling till like '95, so there are a bunch of guys I didn't see a lot of. I watched Supersars as a kid and the weird ass WWF cartoon on saturday mornings, but that was about it....

No, not legitimately. When he did, it was always a screw-job sort of thing.

I know he's a shell of his former self and he doesn't really sell a lot of other wrestlers offense, but he will always be my favorite.
