Did Bobby Wade change names and slip back into a Bears Jersey? I am just about done with this guy. He can't figure out when to field a punt and when to let it go. And then when he fields it, he either runs the wrong way or bobbles it. He is a goof, albeit one with a lot of raw physical ability.

Madden made the comment last night that in a close game he wouldn't put him back there.

I think that run back for the TD he had a few weeks ago has gone to his head. He's quick but he may become a liability. I was definately yelling at the tv when he fielded that one near the endzone and the one he almost missed late in the game. Hopefully they can coach it out of him.

One more game for this guy. One more fumble and I'm done with him. He was really lucky yesterday, actually. He doesn't strike me as particularly coachable. I hope I'm wrong.

He better be or become coachable or he'll be out of a job.

Three weeks ago many people were proclaiming him a steal in the draft. Even if he becomes Dante Hall he is not worth a 2nd round pick.

I cannot figure if you agree or disagree with me. I still stand by my statement.

I agree with Dolphin, if he becomes Dante Hall he isn't worth a 2nd round pick. Good thing he's better than Dante Hall.

When you consider some of the Bears first round picks over the last decade, even if Hester stops playing tomorrow he was worth the second round pick. He gave the Bears the best possible start you could have in a superbowl: a free 7 points to play with and the Bears blew it. Even if he stays as strictly a return specialist. The field position he gave the Bears in the superbowl is invaluable. If he becomes a decent corner or offensive player then that is a bonus.

I disagree anyways. Hall's one great season justified a second round pick, IMO. I mean, it doesn't make for a great pick of course, but there's a lot of first and second rounders that are pure busts. The Chiefs got real benefits from Hall.

I doubt they would have even gotten to the Superbowl without him. Without his TD returns in the Arizona, Giants, second Vikings, and Rams games, they likely would have lost two, three, or perhaps all 4 of them, which would have resulted in them not getting home field advantage.
