I hope this comparison will end the "Bears Starting QBs since Brett Farve has started" list. I hate that thing.

How could you forget former Bear's forgettable greats like: "Captain Comeback " - J.Harbaugh and the infamous QB competition between him and M.Tomzack! Pencil in S.Fuller and my all time favorite forgettable QB C.Mcknown

Is Cory Sauter the only ex Bear QB still in the league?

This is what happens when a Bears QB throws a few TD passes?. my god. Rex and the Bears were very impressive...but it was ONE FREAKING GAME.

I didn't realize years of deprivation had made so many Bears fans so reactionary. Some of you guys remind me of a virgin 18 year old kid who gets screwed for the first time and thinks his partner is the sexiest woman in the world.

Coast, that's a good analogy. The first girl I banged wasn't exactly a centerfold, lemme tell ya.

Nas, You can get excited all you want. That's great. I'm just suggesting a little perspective is also healthy. I think it's a little presumptuous to anoint Rex the best ever or the best in 20 years after four games. Those are the kind of grand pronouncements one could perhaps make after four years, not four games. He may be a better QB technically than Jim McMahon, for example, but he hasn't come close to McMahon's record for BIG wins. Maybe AFTER he wins a Super Bowl, making that case would make more sense to me. Perhaps part of the reason some Bears fans get so disappointed when they lose is because their expectations get so out of line to begin with. Maybe if expectations were held a little more in check with reality, the ultimate disappointment would not be so gut-wrenching. But far be it from me to stop the kool aid flow. I guess having unrealistic expectations and allowing oneself to be set up for heartbreak is part of so many Bears fans' psyche that a few voices of reason in the wilderness aren't going to change it.

What the f-k did I say? I was on a heavy diet of koolaid and Beefeater last couple of weeks. So much that my face acquired a navy blue tint and ears turned orange.

Sorry Coach, I meant to type Coast. He's my kiljoy. I'm drunk on the kool-aid with you (and fairly buzzed on a Grey Goose lunch). Sorry for the f*ck up.

Dallas Winston would have never allowed such a mishap

nas, take a rest will ya? :p

the expectations (for real anyway) werent for 16-0, rex MVP

what i do expect from this team is that they do not have another game as shitty as today's or in arizona's. i expect rex to not throw off his back feet anymore, and complete more passes to guys wearing Bear jerseys. i expect the running game to improve. i expect devin hester to either catch the ball or get the Ffuck off the field.

losing a couple games a year is not only expected, its accepted. playing the way the bears did today-- especially against a team as shitty as the dolphine-- is simply unacceptable.

This is so true

No it isn't. Part of the fun of being a Kool Aid guzzling fan is to be swept up in fantasy. Save reality for Monday morning.
