I was a little suprised Indy was ranked ahead of Baltimore. I know there is a ton of Peyton love but I think the Ravens are a better team. Colts defense doesn't seem as good as last year.

the colts are better than baltimore. the bears are better than baltimore. there's probably a couple of 1 loss teams better than baltimore.

Colts have been playing better teams but are giving up at least 3 Tds/game except against Jacksonville. I think the Bengals might be as good as or slightly better than the Ravens but that's about it.

On a related note, how do you go from unranked to #4 in one week? I guess that explains the #2...

There's a new No. 1 in ESPN.com's Power Rankings. After dominating the defending NFC champion Seahawks on Sunday night, the Bears picked up enough votes to jump past the Colts. The Bears actually grabbed six of the seven first-place votes with the Colts picking up the final one. Maybe it's premature, but the Bears certainly appear to be the most complete team in the NFL right now, scoring 29 points per game and allowing only 7.3.

This brings a tear to my eye. The Bears finally are getting some respect. No one took the Bears seriously since the last of the '85 Bears left town or retired. Even the last couple playoff teams have been average at best in the Nations eye. Enjoy it while it last!

how many times has rex actually been sacked this year-- twice? i know greasy has taken a couple, but by the time he's in, the games over anyway so who cares.

he came back "OK" against the vikings.

last i checked, the bears won that game yes? i know its one game, but id still think rex came back just a shade better than a mere "ok"

fuck him. BEARSSS!!

That's a pretty damn good endorsement of the O-line, considering the increase in the passing game.

That and Rex's decision making. He's tossing the ball into crowd when he needs to.
