Happy with everything so far, but waiting for a big road win. Green Bay sucks bigtime and the Bears were damn lucky to win at Minnesota. Win in NYC and in Foxboro. Then I might dust off my old copy of the Shuffle.

I am happy with the Bears, but disappointed with the local media coverage of these juggernauts. Why haven't our news outlets overreacted to Bear dominance with their typically disproportionate, sensationalistic fervor? My God, their blanket coverage of minor weather "events" has my retiree mom practically barricading herself into her condo at the mere thought of January flurries, but we're getting nothing extra on the Beloved! WTF?

I want a media circus and I WANT IT NOW!! The Trib should immediately pull its chief Washington correspondent so he can start reporting on Lovie's affection for puppies, his favorite places to buy hats, and his belief that America is a great country. Further, we've hardly had our fill of thoughts from the mind of Devin Hester. Why isn't the Sun-Times running excerpts from his daily diary? And why do we know so little about what the Bears are doing on their Victory Mondays? Why isn't Walter Jacobson adopting a disguise and following Rex Grossman through the Gurnee Mills Mall or on a routine jaunt to Steak 'n Shake? What's his favorite flavor shake?
