Considering your record around here, this makes me feel even better about the Mavs chances! 8)

You might want to take another look. It doesn't begin and end with Beasley vs Rose my friend.

I've been a Lakers fan since Kobe has been in the league.

have watched pretty much all of the first half...nuggets are clearly bigger and faster and better shooters than the thunder; but i must say, i've enjoyed the commentators. they've been kinda fun.

thanks bagels!

Kobe sends it to overtime. He is the only guy other than MJ that I always feel will make a shot with less than 10 seconds left in the game. He makes it look so easy.

I like the Mavs chances. I think if they can keep Kidd playing at this level in the postseason they can beat anybody in a 7 game series.

They're only 4 games back in the West. Looks like the Lakers are in Bulls mode.

Still....regular season. There is no way the Lakers lose to the Mavs in a 7 game series. And no, I'm not just saying this because i hate the mavs, i really think the Lakers are going to win the west regardless

I agree. That's why I said they are in Bulls mode. I expect them to turn it on in the playoffs.

I'm not as sold on the Lakers as most. They are the best team in the West, but they dont look unbeatable. Kobe needs to get healthy. He just doesnt look good. Even though he dropped 39 on the Heat, Wade clearly outplayed him.

Hawks lost a tough one at Miami last night...the annoucers and the NBA TV people keep talking about the 2-4 teams in the east since they're within a game or two of each other and how you don't want to be the team that finishes 4 because then you're playing the Cavs in the 2nd round

I'd rather the Hawks play the Cavs than the Magic actually. They've played the Cavs really close this year, and you'd have shaq coming back from an injury...and they've lost every game to the magic this year by double digits, they've been crushed. they can't stop howard at all

Lakers vs Magic with Artest doing his best Rodman impression.

He couldn't let Jennings top him. Kobe looks like he is locked in today. We could see a 50 point game.

Great finish to a weird game. Pretty bad officiating overall, but not really one sided to any team. It's a shame the refs wouldnt let Pau battle it out with Howard down low.

Some thoughts on the Warriors-Blazers

- For all those that wanted LaMarcus Aldridge instead of Tyrus, just remember that guy last night that couldn't do anything against NBDL players is on the hook for $65 million.

- Brandon Roy was incredibly efficient last night. Im surprised he only finished with 41.

- Stephen Curry had a bad game and is still fun as hell to watch.

- It was kinda obvious the whole game the Warriors were gonna lose. It was pretty lame of the TNT guys to act like Nellie has been trying hard as a coach this season and is really invested in the team. It's been pretty much repeated by everybody - I've never seen such blatant "mailing it in" from a coach as Nellie has this season.

Nellie is just hanging around for the Wins record. That's the only reason he hasn't been fired yet. I hope he breaks it this year, so he can just retire.

Right. I figured everybody silently has acknowledged this fact. Thats why I thought it was pretty disingenuous of the TNT broadcast team.

He needs 7 more wins to break the record and I don't think that team can win 7 more. I like Nellie and I hope he breaks the record, but he should not be back next season. Good luck to the Warriors. Maybe the team can rally behind him.

I dont see it. For significant stretches last night they had a lineup of Curry, Devean George, and 3 NBDL callups. (Although CJ Watson and Reggie Williams look like they can play a bit.)

I find it funny that the coaches of the four "contending" teams in the East are Mike Brown, Stan Van Gundy, Mike Woodson, and Doc Rivers.

Normally, I would think Stan Van Gundy would ruin the Magic's shot at ring, but I think that they as good a shot as LA or Cleveland right now considering Mike Brown's on the bench for the Cavs, and if "Good Vince" shows up for a Finals rematch, they can beat LA.

the players of the magic are too good to let a loudmouth asshole like van gundy ruin it for them; i think they just tune him out. but let it be known...he is an ass.

im terrified of a matchup w/ the Magic right now for the Hawks....i like that they're 4th right now. they'd play a Bucks team in the 1st round and then the Cavs in the 2nd. I like how they matchup w/ the Cavs far better...at least their games have been close and if not for the refs cheating the Hawks in one of the games (the not resetting the shot clock incident) they would have won at cleveland. if they move to 3rd and have to play the Magic in the 2nd round they could get swept
