Those odds do seem small to win the world series.

I like the Mariners as a dark horse this year but that is not a huge payout.

I won in 2005 on a 25-1 bet on the White Sox.

Just missed it with the same odds on the Bears the following year.

The odds have more to do with betting trends than they do with who they think will actually win the World Series. These guys are in the business of making money, not making predictions.
