Bullock made 2 horrible movies in 2009, one with Ryan Reynolds and the other with the eminently punchable Bradley Cooper. I haven't seen "The Blind Side" but the trailers made it look like a TNT movie with an A-list lead.

Also, was Michael Oher present at the Oscars? I realize he could've been seated behind Gabby Sidibe.

If she's so great, please name five movies that she was 'great' in, and please don't give me Traffic, as she wasn't in the movie that much.

I found her best work to be "Vanishing" as she was buried alive after the first five minutes. Who knew that garbage movie would give us two academy award winners.

Its like Speed 2! Except with a bus instead of a boat!

I haven't watched 'Blind Side', so I don't know if she was good in it or not. However, I like the idea that the award may be based on the 1 performance, and not given as a lifetime achievement award. I did watch 'Julie and Julia' with my wife. If it's not Meryl Streep (sp?), is that performance Oscar worthy? I liked 'Julie' better than 'Julia' in the movie.

The lead in 'Snow Dogs' has an Oscar.

I guess I could understand, especially when you thing "That's the same MoNique who acted like a buffoon on The Parkers"..



But I mean every actor that has won or been nominated for an AA has a few bad movies.....even Meryl Streep.

They aren't already? On the rare instances that I turn to HBO, rarer still is the time where I find a relatively new movie that justifies the premium channel fee.

...and I cannot stand MoNique. As unappealing to me as she is on the eyes, as soon as she opens her damn mouth, the unattractiveness quotient increases exponentially.
