I know that the season is right around the corner for Chicagoland, but would anyone be interested in a Top Golf Outing sometime in the near future while it is still cold? I have yet to try this place out but have heard nothing but good things. Plus, I know there are a lot of hackers on the board.

I'd go. Are you thinking a Friday night or Sunday afternoon thing?
Saturdays are bad...

I would have to check with the availability for reservations, however either would be fine with me. I imagine either time would be busy.

Depending on the date I would be interested. Been wanting to check this
place out. I was going to find a place to hit outside this weekend.

I'm down. My card is loaded up and ready to go.

They have a spring special. Unlimited golf for $12 before 3:00 PM.

I think it does. Not sure how long they'll keep that up, maybe thru March. Ends at 3 though so we'd be best served to get there maybe like noon at the latest.

The heaters there suck, and the beer was muy expensivo ($16 for a pitcher of Miller Lite was the "special" on a Saturday). But other than that, its a really cool place.

In all honesty, it will probably make more sense just to go golfing.

Supposed to be nice on Saturday, have fun. I got out twice last week and shooting for 3
times this week. Love this early spring weather. Still too cold for a lot of people so it has
been empty out there. I got my back nine done in an hour last week playing alone.

Been hitting up Tee Time in Lisle the past couple of weeks to get the rust off the clubs and to try out the new hybrid. Will probably try to get out and actually play sooner or later.

Get the windshirt out - supposed to be cold. I might take next Thursday off to play.

Yeah, not too bad. Maybe around 50, I can deal with that.

 You're nuts, Tbone. I'll play in the colder weather, but yesterday was not a day to golf. Were you the only asshole out there? :P

I got there at 3:45 just as they were closing up the pro shop for the day. They must
not have had the fortune of other idiots like myself. They told me to go out and
have fun and didn't even charge me. I was the only one out there and had a blast.
A couple of holes were pretty rough with the wind but this course was very hilly and
I didn't feel it as much as I thought on 75% of the holes. I played much better than
I expected too so that made it worth the windburn. I made it around 18 holes walking
in 2 hrs 45 minutes. I guess I am a bit strange, but that was a fun afternoon for me,
even when I could see my breath on the last 5 holes.

Well, can't complain about free golf. But that wind yesterday was fucking awful. I dunno how bad it was up by you, but in the afternoon here it was terrible. If its 40 and sunny I'm actually up for putting a fleece on and hitting the links. But if its that windy, not even Hawk Harrelson could get me out there.

It was 34 degrees when I teed off with gusts of I would say 25 to 30mph winds.
When I had to hit into the wind it was a 4 or 5 club difference. By the
time I got back in the car in was 29 degrees but the wind had backed
down to maybe 20 mph.

Have fun on Saturday. I am thinking 50s will seem real nice when I
am out there tomorrow. :)

T-Bone, you were not alone we had a dozen or so idiots book through the site to play yesterday.

I was at a meeting and the when I was leaving the JV golf team showed up and the coach got out the van and said, "hit the range for a little while boys its too cold to go out and play." Uhh coach, it's still cold on the range and its probably more cold since you are not walking in between shots. Felt bad for a minute for the kids.
