I never root for an injury and I'm put off by those who do. My point was that if there was one pitcher in the AL Central whose injury would enhance the White Sox chances at winning the division, it would be Joe Nathan.

More than Justin Verlander?? I think Detroit is still the top contender with the Sox in 2010 and if they are to win, it will be Verlander leading the way. It's hard to know how the Twins will play in 2010, in the new ballpark where they will be outdoors.

Because nobody involved with the current St. Louis Cardinals staff would ever lead you to have any suspicion of their power hitters

You guys really think Pujols is dirty? He's not changed much in size from early on has he? He was tested in the minors when he was there right? And pretty much since what 2004? 2003?

All I know is where there is smoke there is usually fire and there is plenty of smoke around LaRussa....Canseco, McGwire, Ankiel, Edmonds, Rolen.....there are alot of guys on his teams that seem to have that extra edge. I am not saying 100% that he cheated but if I had to put money on it I would say that he has/is using HGH if not other suppliments.

Tony LaRussa is a joke. You're comments are dead nuts on.

lipid, if Pujols played for the Pirates would you say the same thing?

Why not? He's a goddamn cardinal and I still think he's clean.
What are you getting at? What's your angle here? What are you digging for?

lipid is a Cardinal fan, just curious if he thought he would have the same thoughts if the played for another team.

I really hope he is clean, but it would not surprise me to find out he isn't.

That was a fair question.

While I think he is clean, I don't fault anyone who may think otherwise...
