Thanks Chris, I truly appreciate your hospitality.
46th, Spank, Mike, CC, Z, Pucker it was great to see you boys again.

Chris's best line of the night:

"I'm just glad no one took a shit in the kitchen sink."

Crosscheck is a cool guy, but is now dubbed Ye PartyFowl for spilling his beer at least three times, including on the table.

Spanky is the only one here who can do basic math.

If Chris didnt make a sheet for color denominations, we would have gone another 10 hours

46th street deserved better hands and should have stayed at the wrong garage he walked into first. I think he gets quote of the night for telling Darkside to create a poll to see if he should go all-in.

Every conversation W_Z has ends up with the Wonder Years or the story of being beat up by an Irish guy.

I want to know who the guy on ESPN was that said during the Georgetown/WVU "He is playing tonight despite being diagnosed with diabetes".

Oh, and I suck at poker.

I had a blast guys, thank you for coming out. I would for sure do this again.

All in all it was a big success if just not for the fact that Im not missing too much from my house, except my stereo equipment, TV, Wii, oven and my car.

I guess that's when I finally realized...it wasn't just about poker. It was about friendship. It was about the internet. It was about...being together on that Saturday night. And when I walked away from that house, the rain dancing along the streets...I was still filled...with wonder.

I think I rolled back into the Estates at about 3:40 (DST). Stayed up watching Casino until 6. I'm sleepy, but there's blackhawks afoot.

I think there were 7, yeah we played one table. Game was what about 6 hours? I think we started about 7 and finished up around 1ish.

There were cookies.

It's all about forming relationships. I was attempting to bring the neighborhood together. Cris' neighbors were extremely friendly. Prior to directing me to the correct residence, they inquired about my willingness to stay and watch their special edition blu ray copy of Deliverance.
"Whoa! Take it easy my friends" I replied. There was then an awkward moment of silence before I thanked them and politley excused myself. The upshot is, if we ever need to fill out the table, all we have to do is venture a few houses down.

LMAO I told the wife about you going to the wrong house last night and you saying they were really friendly. She asked if you could come back over and introduce us to them. We have lived here almost 3 years now and we dont know anybody besides the neighbors across the street!!!

Whoa! Take it easy my friend had me laughing everytime you would use it on Darkside. :D

I'd be more than happy to advance neighborhood relations, provided I'm allowed unlimited buy ins next time around.

Things we learned and things that were discussed...

New Mexico St. has extremely high standards.
Bob Huggins, much like Liam Neeson, is not universally loved.
The term Vigorish was explained, as was just what exactly Cisco does.
Bernie Kosar may or may not have been drunk in the booth.
Ways to ingratiate Lipid with the opposite sex were suggested.
Fangoria and Capt. Spaulding.
I paid money to see "If Looks Could Kill" starring Richard Greico.
Guitar Hero and Rock Band, as well as bass players giving up on the dream.
The gender of Good Dolphin.

Oh, and the merits of Sean Marshall.

Wonder Years and Winnie getting hot.
The increasingly gravelly voice of Dan McNeil
How Crosscheck became a Sharks fan, then back to a Kings fan in 20 seconds
We're all terrible at math, except Spanky
Everybody does a Lou Pinella
The virtues of a trunk for dead stripper storage.

What a great night, it was really cool to finally get out to an event and meet some of the regulars, Chris had an awesome set-up and was a great host. I hope that we can do it again soon, although I'd prefer to not lose all my chips to darkside again... Thanks to Chris for everything... and sorry about the table, the floor, and/or anywhere else I might have spilled a beer

I was just thinking about what was the funniest part of Saturday night and I would have to say W_Z's Mike Murphy impression.

Glad everyone had fun as I know I sure did!!

It was not an average night for sure, sorry nobody found the need to continue to post for 20 pages and a shoutout thread later. Sometimes it's a bit excessive.

You're my boy Chris and I reckon more or less that will be true as far into the future as I can tell, but seriously, I'd expect a lot better than this from you.

I'll grant you that I can see finding it to be a bit much, but even I wouldn't have the brass to start telling people to stop posting about an event that was really enjoyable for them all. Aside from KIW, everybody is a poster on this board, hell I'm probably the least prominent poster of the group and I don't think I'm a slouch, so you can see how a dozen or so recognizable posters spending some free bandwidth to re-enjoy a few tidbits from a gathering might not, in fact, seem so incredibly out of place or wholly inappropriate.

How it takes anything away from you that IMU continues his douchey character, or people relate brief snippets from the event, or I struggle to not play virtual chatboard grabass with mxdcookie is well beyond my ability to comprehend.

Turns your stomach? Don't. Fuckin'. Read.

Now, back to things that matter ..... when the hell is the next poker game?
