I know the Cubs payed millions for 2 established ML hitters,but as a Cub Fan wouldn't some youth platoon in CF or RF get you more excited? Wheter it's Fuld,Aducci or whatever else they have besides Colvin. Those millions used would have looked good spent on a few more arms.

Fuld- unreliable for a full year per Hendry due to diabetes. He does get worn down very easy. Colvin will be a call up and we will see.

From 'Others" accounts, the Cubs have a number of good MLB propsects and while everyone loves prospects, the word CHEAP is what owners love. Vitters, Castro, could 1/2 IF even this season.

Brett Jackson is CF, already a top 50 prospect in all of baseball per BA.

Marlon Byrd has been tearing it up this season for me on MLB THE SHOW, so I would say stick with him!!!

Yes, I like both Byrd & Nady. I hope they do well,but once in awhile it doesn't hurt to take a chance on a kid. Cubs do this with pitchers but not hitters.

I agree but they have too much $$ invested in the outfield to go young there. It's easier to do it with pitchers.

I must have won 12 or 13 World Series on MLB The Show. Prior Averaged about 18 K's per start and Aramis hit 412 for the season.

Video games are great. Back when I used to play Triple Play, I played like half a season with the Sox and was something like 75-6. I remember I had Freddy Garcia's ERA well under 1.
