You really can't argue the teamwork aspect of it. The game definitely rewards those who work together. And I'm making the leap that working together means talking... and therefore, more social. Maybe I'm making the leap with the last point, but that has been my experience.

Yes, I can argue it...I'm sorry, but not once playing this game have I felt like I'm using any more teamwork than I would playing MW2. Yeah, it's great that they give you XP for reviving people and shit, but you said yourself that the whole point is to win the game. If that's true, both games reward teamwork equally.

As for more social, I refuse to agree that a game that only lets you talk to three other people is more social than a game that lets you talk to your entire team. Fuck, a couple weeks ago when we tried getting a private match going we sat in the lobby for thirty minutes and finally gave up because we couldn't get another player...we ended up breaking up into two teams because we all couldn't join the same game and keep on talking to eachother as a group of seven...that just sucks. in MW2 you would be able to start a private match anytime you wanted or if you wanted to play public matches you could keep that group of seven together and go into ground war.

That would be true if MW2 players played like that. But they don't. They just want to level up to the next prestige or preserve their Kill/Death ratio. They'll gladly give up the win bonus for extra kills to feed their kill streak...even in a game of Domination.

That's why we join Live Parties if we want to include more people. And since they worked the kinks out we haven't had that matching problem again. I'm not saying matchmaking is perfect, but it is working.

Like hell they don't...the group Doug and I played with were always about winning the game over getting kills...lots of communication too.

Did they change it so that you can group more than four people together and join the same match? Because if not, that's way to much work, to try to have four people join a server, and hope that not only is there room for the other people but that they will end up on the same team as you.

How can you say that a game where you spawn randomly and primarily earn points for kills encourages teamwork more than a game where you get more points for aiding your teammates and can spawn right next to your squad mates? It's not even close.

Because XP/Points isn't my only motivation for playing the game.

Not to make a big deal about it, lipid, but checking the stats-o-meter, your four hours playing online versus the several days worth of MW2 I've played makes me think you haven't given BC2 much of a chance. You have a four rank which makes me think you haven't unlocked very much... kinda hard to give your full opinion when you haven't even seen all the things BC2 has to offer.

No, it's very easy to give my opinion on it...there was very little about those four hours that made me want to jump back in anytime soon...if they wanted me to keep playing the game to see "all the things it has to offer" they should have made the game better from the start.

I'm not going to keep playing a game that I don't think is fun just so I can justify to others my opinion that it isn't fun...hell, I waste enough time as it is.

Did you even bother reading my last post? I just said I'm not going to keep playing a game so I can justify my opinion of it to people like you that get all butthurt the moment I start saying something bad about it.

You've clearly decided to hate the game.
Yeah, I decided to hate the game so much that I dropped sixty bucks on it...clearly I wanted it to be a bad game! My only hope is that prices for games have gone down by the time the third one comes out, because I really want to hate that one too.

do you even have red dots on your gun? Do you have mortars for your recon class?
I don't know...you tell me...you seem to know a hell of a lot more about my accomplishments in the game then I do.

What r u in the mood for? They are two completely different games. One is primarily a multiplayer first person shooter. The other is a fairly open world quest oriented third person button masher. I played both, but I'm biased in favor of multiplayer games.

You should YouTube GT and IGN reviews of each of the titles they will give you a good idea of what the games are about. I always do that so I can see what the gameplay is like.

I still say pick up Red Faction Guerilla cheap off of eBay. Great game that no one played!

I played the demo, so I think I have the hang of it somewhat.

Huge game. Just got 24 pins and 3 dog tags in one match. Went on a tear as a chopper gunner. Press the "We're happy for you" button.
