i think the first was great, but i'm liking the second one. i don't know what you have against it. the gameplay is good and the story is interesting.

I fell in love with the plot and the A.I. (well, it was decent A.I.). They lead you to the scene with the military coming to save you and then the miltary fires a bunch of grenades at you. It was classic moments like that which stood out. The second one just seemed to throw you in the plot and just couldnt wait to get to the poorly implemented multi-player attacks in the city scenes. Ravenholm and the citadel were damned cool though.

We don't go to Ravenholm anymore...

I just bought NBA 2k10 and am taking it back already, what a shit game that was, I miss the old NBA live games with kevin garnett and Jason Kidd on the cover; a simpler time when games weren't so fucking confusing to play...

that's how i was at first but i've grown to like the game a little better now.

the glitches are super annoying though. you still can't pass the ball down the court without it getting intercepted EVERY time. and sometimes it takes forever for a ref to give the ball to the player who's going to inbound the ball.

I'm trying to get motivated to play Assassin's Creed 2. Already put a couple hours into it but haven't played it in a few weeks. Seems like it could be good but the usual buildup to the "good" part of the game is killing me. I wanna build my village of whorehouses dammit!!... or is that a different game?

Knowing EA they'll remove the game from 2011 but offer it as a 10 dollar download.

Been playing The Show all day in stunning HD for the first time... it plays like it always has, very few adjustments from what I can tell, but the visual details look a lot better IMO from years past. I still have yet to try out that new catcher mode.

Picked up skate 2 and Quantum of Solace this past weekend, and both are solid games. The Bond game is the best one since Goldeneye, which probably isn't saying much considering that all of the bond games have been shit for the most part. But it is a really good FPS.

Skate 2 is just like the first skate except with an updated city and the ability to get off the skate board and move obstacles around and climb stairs, and you can now grab onto cars which makes getting around a lot easier... oh and the soundtrack is great, the games starts off with ELO and then moves onto nas and other random music as well...

I am in this weird limbo state between MW2 Map-packs and BFBC2 in the mail... and Oblivion sucks.

No games are really holding my interest right now... I usually fall back on playing some zombies on COD:WaW when I'm bored. It's not great, but this seems to be the game that I'm best at regardless of the level of people I play with.
Maybe the MW2 mappack will change that.

This is how far behind I am in games. Been playing it now for a couple weeks and love it.

Sorry man, I don't know what it is. Maybe it is because I am bad at the game, or I just don't like the first-person aspect of the battles.

I didn't like it at first either - very slow pace to start the game and the world is so big and there is no "path" per se. But after about 3 or 4 solid hours of keeping with it, I found myself really enjoying it. Once you realize that you can do things in any order and monsters scale with your levels I found it really interesting to just go off and explore and not worry about having a side quest mess up the main quest. I definitely understand why you don't like it right now but if you keep with it I think you'll change your mind.

If you are bad, just move the slider all the way down to easy...that's what I did...

Do you normally enjoy RPGs? If not, it would be pretty hard to enjoy this game.

Yeah, I enjoy them typically. I played a little more last night and finally closed that damn Oblivion gate in Kvatch. Started a couple other quests and have to admit it was nice to actually move forward in the story.
