One thing you have to realize is, in the context of great baseball, is that it can be measured as a game of inches. While there is not an actual measuring stick used in the field to determine yards or feet, except for home run purposes, you can still make assumptions on what the inches are. For instance, second basemen need to understand what their range is when they throw the ball to the first baseman to complete a double play. When I was with The Machine, I knew that we had those inches. We had more than that. We had miles of talent and understanding. A wealth of knowledge of the game. And we had the best second baseman, probably of all time.

Now here you have this second baseman who came from the Phillies to the Chicago Cubs in 1982. He had a decent career, there is no doubt about that. But was he a hall of famer? Did he play the game of inches? Does he even know what that means?

I've instructed my four daughters to prove using science that Ryne Sandberg was nothing more than a complimentary type of player and maybe a good hitter--but not a hall of fame player. We don't have too many people in this great Hall of Fame that don't deserve to be, unlike the NFL. But we have one that comes to mind immediately that must be redacted. I will make it my goal in life to remove Ryne Sandberg from the Hall of Fame. I have never failed at anything in my life, so I feel confident that this will happen.

For what it's worth, I have admitted to each mult I've used.
Everyone knows about Frank Drebin. I used him to escape association with a former family member.

I never had anything to do with Rooney at all. He was passed around like a joint at the Darkside Estates but I never inhaled. Ever.
