Goff would not have the chemisty with Mac if OPV were not there.

Well, Goff is getting a pretty decent amount of airtime lately, and he seems a lot more comfortable as a show driver. It looks as though they may be shuffling things in the near future and are looking at ways to use Goff. Hopefully he can make sure not to be too Vandy during tomorrows show...

Mac just said that Vandy is "part of the roster" at the Score. If that's the case, how come I've never heard him with anyone other than Mac? Why hasn't he filled in for someone else?

You have a valid point, Koach. How come Pat Vanderwal hasn't sat in for either Boers or Bernstein while guys like Laurence Holmes, Steve Rosenbloom & Barry Rozner always sit in? Why hasn't he hosted LoHo's nighttime shift? Why hasn't Oak Park Vandy pinch hit for Bruce Wolf on the weekends with the Chris Chelios-looking Mike Esposito as is the case from 1-5p tomorrow on 670 The SCORE & 670thescore.com? A lot of questions, but if he's "part of the roster", riddle me this...How come Pat and Bruce aren't even listed on the personalities page yet Mike Murphy still is? Yeah, Murph is still under contract, but he hasn't worked an airshift since an hour before the Cubs & White Sox Interleague game and WSCR was live at Murphy's Bleachers right around the time Mac & Spiegs took over...

I really like the 3 man booth. Goff had a great line about cracking bad jokes every once in a while...

I'm glad that Goff has been getting more airtime as a co-host lately and I hope he gets more in the near future. I also like Drinky as well. There's no doubt that the Score has a better farm system than 1000 does. I just get annoyed when morning zoo has beens like Paruch get far more airtime and bring nothing to the table. And let's not get started with Zaidman. I don't know Vandy, but Mac's comment about him "on the roster", let's hear Vandy with Bernstein when Terry is on vacation if Mac's statement is true.

Koach, I disagree with you about Brian "The Whipping Boy" Paruch. "Whip" is one of the most durable guys on the SCORE team, whether it's doing "Scoreboard Updates" such as the case right now during "The Danny Mac Show" or if he's hosting, such as what he & Steve Rosenbloom do every Saturday morning 8a-12Noon and this Sunday 4-8p. Other SCORE hosts refer to him as "the King", but not me. Paruch will always be known as "The Whipping Boy" based on his many years with Mancow, Pete McMurray and others on the FM side. That said, I wish "Whip" would also sit in with Mac, as well as with Terry & Dan B. in the afternoon.

Personally, I enjoyed the mutual circle jerk society around 12:30 when Mac mentioned how great the radio station was doing. Jason was awesome at the roast, Vandy's sounding good, Spiegs would be back, yada yada yada - but not on a RECESSION SALARY.

I phoned in to Nick Shempkowski and said "Now that everybody's done giving each other handjobs, can they get back to talking sports?"

Silence on the other end.

At the end of the show Goff did say he wouldn't force him to talk about boxing or whatever. He wants things to be comfortable. I get the feeling Speigel is the same way. Mac is better when he is challenged either by a friend or foe.

At what time did CSFMB come up in conversation? I want to check it out on the web site.
