Not quite for the show today, but def. for the shows the last couple of days.

Dear Mac,

Good radio is certainly not spending an entire segment talking about, hashing out and talking about hashing out prop. bets. I mean, COME ON. Really? Is that what it is now? Ughly Doughly.

"Well how about Wins and Loses for ace pitchers..."
Who are the "aces"
"ehhhh, wellllll, ahhhhhh,ohhhhhh, eeeeeee, you know, I don't know..I mean....ehhhh.....Peavy.
"ok"

--Repeat for entire segment.

Very true.

But it still is fucking tiresome. I PTFB and come back minutes later and the shit is still being squeezed through my speakers. I get it, it's on the web page and all, but it is fucking stupid. Tell us about it, give us a quick rundown and tell us to go to the page...open a chat blog on the page or something. No need to keep rehashing it for days.

What would you suggest they talk about this week for the 20 hours they have to fill?

NCAA Hoops? Probably tomorrow, and probably a few days ago on Monday.
Hockey - they talked plenty about hockey.
Cubs / Sox - had it covered, and we'll have 6 months of it.
Bears - It's a Bears town baby!!!
Parody songs - no need to acknowledge this.
Miscellaneous bullshit that moves the show along and breaks up the monatony of sports all the time - they've got it covered.

PTFB all you want! Especially if Dayton covers the 2.5 tonight!

Should be a full wagering segment every single week! All year!

I love the fact Doyle talks about the number! It's the way all sports should be discussed! To tell me that Indy is going to beat Oakland on a Sunday gets me to PTFB! I wanna know if they are going to cover the number!

Bring back Coast to Coast! Gte him paid, find a sponsor

When Mac first came back I was all excited for gambling talk, until I realized he was a sports betting meatball.

A sound bankroll plan != making a lot of non correlated parlays, while justifying it by reciting rounders movie quotes made me vomit up a few sklansky bucks in my mouth.

I will thank Doyle for the Dayton pick, but his Butler pick on Saturday, I can't go with that one, GO GREEN GO WHITE.

Hey, actual talk about a given subject (such as gambling) would be fine if it at least sounded like something that was thought out and prepared for. This talk was rambling non-sense. Throwing out names and such and the initial response was a whole lotta nothin'.

"How about blow-ups"?
"ehhhhh uhhhh ahhhhh ohhhhh weeeeelll, I mean...."

Why can't they at least bother to pretend? The shows were good up until these points. If you wan't non-related talk to break up early spring, just before opening day monotony that's fine...but at least have it be well prepared non-related talk.

Never said I wanted Mac's plays! but he should have more people on willing to talk about the spreads. It seems to be a very taboo subject for some reason. Even Doyle talking about it he strays away.
