At least today, in the 15 minutes I listened before I couldn't take North and Jen, she seems to have a increasing role on the show, and is also going to make a lot of appearances in the near future (wonder why ?)

Regarding that annoying trollop Jen: Interesting segment yesterday when Anne Maxfield was given her 2 minutes of air time. She was talking about the 39 year old San Francisco Mayor and his 20 year old girlfriend. She ended the story by saying that the Mayor had met the girl when she was working as a hostess at a restaurant. Anne's last words were something like, "You'd know something about that."

Wasn't the trollop a hostess at Gibson's? Or am I reading too much into this?

I shall not rest until The Idiot is gone from the airwaves.

Jen has an increasing role on the show because she has been named as the Ex. producer of the show. She's the boss when it comes to organizing this show, so if she feels she has something to add, she will. Whether it's "listenable" or not is up strictly to the listener, but give her credit...she comes on the air and stands up for herself against Mike. She's not one to back down to him on the air.

I talk mainly to Mike off air, but choose my spots on-air. We all have an open mic on the show, so if we feel we have something to add...we will. I just would rather choose my spots and go from there.

If I may be so bold as to ask, what has Jen Patterson done in her vast media career that she deserves to be the EP of a MORNING DRIVE SHOW in MARKET 3?

Every producer at WSCR should get the flu one day as a form of protest.

I would guess considering the financial vacuum that this show is, its EP has the highest salary of any other producer at the station. You're going to tell me that this chick should be making more than Drinky?

Nice to see that all that broadcast school and long hours spent interning and working for gas money really don't mean a thing at the end of the day. A cute waitress with a nails-on-a-chalkboard voice and no discernable talent moves up the totem pole faster than ugly guys with talent. Nice.

I would think that a requirement of a sports radio producer should be a vast knolledge of sports and Chicago sports history. Just based on Jen Jen's persona I doubt she has that. She doesn't seem like a bull dyke so I doubt she knows sports. (no offense spaulding but you seem like the exception) I'd be pissed if I were a producer at the Score as well.

She cant speak, She has zero knowledge of sports, she's a ditz,

She may have a the executive producer title, and that's great for her, but if she's going to be having stupid arguements with Mike every other segment, why not bring Annie back and discuss Iraq with North ? We saw how good that experiment worked, and while Jen isn't on the air as much as Annie was, it's still annoying to have her on the air. People want sports talk, not dumb Mike/Jen Jen arguements.

Rock, I wrote this before and I will write this again...if you allow Jiggles to be your boss, you will never be respected at the station. This is the type of insulting move that requires you to throw down the gauntlet. How can you possibly take this professionally?

Maybe it's because you can't pay your rent with "professional integrity". Sometimes you just have to take the abuse and mismanagement...that's part of working for a living. I guess I saw this coming....it was nice with Matt, even Jesse and Holmes because the shows were sports focused...the last week or so, it's been Jen coming on the air, not enough to be a 3rd host, but definitely more than any producer should be on the air. Mike apparently is bored by hosting a 4 hour sports show, and needs to entertain us by broaching any/all subjects, and he doesn't care who doesn't like it because he has his money, and the 1.5 years left on his contract.

That may be true for someone making 75K with a wife and children to feed. A single person making 19K can make more in just about any 40 hour a week job. Catholic grad school teachers make a little more than that and get their summers/christmas off.

Here's the deal: Mike "blames" Buchman and others fr the shows failure; you can through Rock in that category as well - if he didn't, he would have been promoted.

In North's mind, he is the star, he made the station, and he knows what listener's want. It's the others who have failed, not him.

He has controlled that station since the get-go - it's not just Mitch, but harvey and Spacebal let him run wild; Gleason was the only one who tried to contain him ( why do you think Ron got axed when Spaceball came in - another North manuever for his lapdogs)
