Who are you rooting for and why?

I will cast the first vote for the Cardinals. Why? Even though Ronnie Belliard makes my list of all time hated players, I'd rather see his ill-fitting uniform wearing FAT ass get a ring before the Venezuelan Krusty The Clown that wears #30 for the Tigers.

Plus, Kenny Rogers is a massive douche and IRod is the incredible shrinking man (and he's a bitch). Screw those 2 bastards.

Bet the Cardinals tonight. Cards have the momentum, just like LA did versus the Sox in game 1 of last year's ALCS.

And, there were several Tigers players doing autograph signings yesterday and this morning, just hours before Game 1.

It would seem to me that while signing your name isn't ditchdigging, it's still a distraction and fatigueing (sp?) to the hand and arm. Plus, wouldn't you think that there is tape to study, matchups to examine, etc. instead of lining their already lined pockets?
