The Twins played a Thursday night game in LA then flew halfway across the country to play an extra inning game on Friday and a Saturday day game. Didn't seem to bother them. Fuck you and your excuses. Hit the god damn ball!

I saw the Thome at bat and Hawk just doesn't let it up about the ball and strikes. Claimed that the ball 4 to Thome was a strike earlier? Then talked about it during the Kubel at bat and then after the HR.

That was really all I watched, but even in 5 mins, I get all Hawk complaining.

What really surprises me is that nobody on the Sox actually talks to Hawk.

1. I think makes for a terrible broadcast, even Sox fans I know are sick of this act.
2. We all know what asses umps are, so do you really want to keep talkiing shit about them on the air so it gets back to them? So they come after your team? As much as it shouldn't matter, it does.

Oddly enough, last night when there was a real valid complaint with two close pitches from Pena- one of which had to be a strike- Hawk was rather subdued.
