. . . but it's already pretty much wait till next year for the Astros. 0-7 and 5 GB after one week of baseball.

Brutal.

They were 15-30 in 2005 and won the pennant.
The White Sox lost 7 in a row, and 9 of 10 in August 2005.

Not to say that the Astros are going to do the same, but teams go thru bad stretches and still succeed.

The Astros are brutal, they might lose 103 or 104 games. They really are bad, but its impossible to write anybody off on April 13th.

Unless you are the Reds :P

Astros had a run of getting ridiculously hot in the 2nd half for a few years. Not that you can rely on that sort of thing happening, but...

Berkman is hurt. He should be back at some point, or traded for prospects.

...... I just looked at their roster, it's brutal. This team is going nowhere. They have one of the lowest rated farm systems as well. The Pirates might finish ahead of them.

Fun (Bad) Stat: The Astros have drawn 6 walks while whiffing 50 times already. Houston, we have a problem...

Astros are still pathetic. Now 6.5 GB in the Central.
