Cavs have a title or titles by now?

How does this affect Deron Wiliams?
Would the Jazz have Taken Paul?

He would still be good somewhere else.
Yes.

The Cavs got to the finals and the conference finals without Boozer. Not a big Boozer fan?

I love how he's playing this year. But if it took Sloan this long to play defense and team ball, I doubt Mike Brown could've done it sooner, or at all. The Cavs won 2 combined games in those two series you mentioned. I dont think they've necessarily been close to a title yet, although I think they should be the favorite this year.

John Paxson would have still given Ben Wallace $60 Million.

My favorite What If of the past decade though is what if Robert Sarver didnt sell Deng and Rondo for nothing, and let JJ walk for nothing. That would be a super bad ass team by now with at least 1-2 titles.

Deng and super bad ass should never be used in the same post

The problem with what ifs in the NBA is contracts and how theyre looked at are changed year to year and move to move. Would the Suns have been able to keep everybody?

What if the Pistons took Carmello?
Rasheed
Darko
Chauncey
Ben Wallace
all majorly affected, not to mention the Nuggets and Nene

Yeah I mentioned that. RPB - The Bird rule would have allowed the Suns to keep whoever they wanted as long as they paid the luxury tax. If Cuban owned that team they'd have a title by now, I'm pretty certain. The Carmelo thing is interesting too, he might be the difference maker in the 2005 Finals when noone could score. They might have two titles instead of 1. By 2006 they werent there anymore IMO. 'Sheed would still have turned into a lazy fat piece of shit, Wallace I think would have bolted anyway for the money. I wonder how long Dumars can live off that '04 title.

Deng and super bad ass should never be used in the same post

When surrounded by Nash, Rondo, Joe Johnson, and Amare Stoudemire, even Phil McCracken can be used with super bad ass in the same sentence.

Well if I was out there at least somebody on the court would be playing some D

Apparently you didnt realize Rondo is one of the best defensive guards in the league and JJ came in as, and still is, a top notch defender.

Apparently I did. I was going to add a post later saying the one person playing D would be Rondo. Considering I havent played basketball at a competitive level since 8th grade it is ridiculous to think that I could even be on the same court with any of these guys. But thank you very much for enlightening me with your basketball wisdom. It is so very appreciated. Now if I can just get Irish Boy to explain to me why statistics are important I will be all set.

Paxson should have never signed Theo Fleury. But I think that contributed to the Hawks being shitty enough to get to draft Kane and Toews so it worked out ok.
