I heard Mac say last week that he was gonna have a meeting and find out whether or not he and Matt were going to be given new contracts. But I have not heard anything about that meeting since. Has anything been said yet?? I certainly hope and have to believe Mac will be back. Whether it's in the same time slot with the same partner would be the only real question.

1 year with a 10-15% cut in the cost of the show, due to the decline in ad revenue all radio broadcasters are facing.

I assumed that he would have mentioned it by now on the air. It might be of interest to some people, but to those who already were aware of the situation, it wouldn't be. So I figured it best to get the information here or from Mac here or on facebook. I figured someone here would have heard. I'm a big believer in the idea that the shows should keep the focus on sports and not the personal lives of the radio personalities. Mike North had a great show with Dan jiggets (in my opininion), but then he wanted to do a show on his own and he made the show more about him, and less and less about sports. I tuned in to listen to sports talk, not Fritzies night on the town, or Adopt-a-pet. Keep it on sports.

I'm glad to know that he will be back. That seemed a sure thing to me, as their ratings have been good and yet I was just a bit curious as to whether Matt would remain and if the slot might change. there had been speculation about the 1-6pm slot and whether Boers might get the boot. I thought there might be a shake-up, in the shows.....again.
