Anne Maxfield is back to having a featured role on Mike North's morning show on WSCR-AM 670. Maxfield recently had been relegated to reading the news while the station tried other combinations with North.

I received several e-mails complaining about Maxfield's reduced role, and you can bet WSCR did too.

"She never left the show," WSCR program director Mitch Rosen said. "Like a coach trying to bring in other receivers on offense, we looked at some other people. We listened to the feedback. We went back with Anne. We're happy where the show is right now."

The whole thing is ridiculous, but how can he possibly be happy where the show is now? Mr. Chicago is losing to a national sports show!

National sports shows tank in this town. Nobody listens to them, Kornheiser, Patrick, Rome, Sporting News, and on and on. How can he be happy about that?

I would love for someone to explain what we're all missing here. Is it the dumb comments she makes when she attempts to talk sports ? Is it because she's a female, and North is constantly saying how hot she is ? I have no idea why people would be emailing Sherman about Maxfield's reduced role.

Perhaps these emails were complaints about the show in general, and Sherman took it as complaints that one of hosts was missing, or in limbo ?

Perhaps Sherman did receive many complaints specifically about Maxfield, but many more in agreeance with the decision to mute her ???

no, i like that berstein is generally smarter. i hate how he uses it like hes some type of genius. he always acts like a stuck up little girly brat. even when callers call in with a good point, he starts out by saying "what the hell are you talking about" then once the caller dumbs it down for HIM, then sally replies with a quick OK, FINE, THAT WOULD BE THE LOGICAL WAY OF THINKING. THANKS FOR THE CALL, SHEESH. he is constantly acting like that, he is the worst at handling callers of any host on the score.
