The only word I can use to describe that joint is BEAST!

I used to like Fat Joe too. You ever heard his 2nd album Jealous Ones Envy? It's a masterpiece. Look it up. If not I'll hit you with it

Radiohead -- Pablo Honey

Doug, you did the right thing by not burning this album onto that disc you
passed me. Maybe they did a bunch of drugs and became better but this
album is nothing like the next 4 or 5.

"Only In Dreams" came on my ipod this morning, and I decided to give the whole album a spin. I have probably played this album straight through more times than any other CD I own. it's a shame they have sucked balls for the last 10 years.

Ruben doesn't need an angel, he needs a lap-band.

I can simplify this to "My Name Is Jonas" and "The World Has Turned And Left Me Here." There's nothing this band does that other bands don't do better.

You know what a really bitchin' power-pop band was? Fountains of Wayne.

The entire blue album is good.

And a lot of their stuff after is fine. Its just not the Blue Album.

In the Garage is awesome.

Agree on Fountains of Wayne

"tired of sex" is a great song. "in the garage"...are there other geek song confessionals prior to 1994 that were that painfully honest (and catchy)?

anything post "pinkerton", while i do still like some of it, i would say your accusation is pretty correct. but there's plenty of good tunes on their first two albums.

fountains of wayne is a very underrated band. "supercollider", "hackensack", "i've got a flair", "radiation vibe", and "leave the biker" are just some of my favs...
