Ozzie rants are pre planned and designed to take away the focus from the poor play and put it on him?

While it is not an uncommon thing for a coach to do this occasionally (Ditka= Rollerdome) I highly doubt Ozzie has a plan with his rants, despite what Mr. Disgruntled Ex Cubs Employee would like to create as an excuse for what many see as a guy who is just angry.

Ozzie and Kenny are both prima donnas that like to have the attention on themself. No other sport, no other team has a manager and a GM that have to have everything be about them. I like alot of the players on the White Sox overall and I might be able to actually root for the team on that side of town, but with those two jerkoffs in a position of power I will always be happier when they fail.

Ozzie is a hot head who doesn't like to lose, and gets frustrated. Sure, it's possible that this is all just a pre-planned event by Ozzie to take the focus off of his players, but I think that's become the talking points for those around the organization.

He can scream all he wants but he is the guy who did not want Jim Thome at DH.

The way this team is structured, they would be better off with Jermaine Dye at DH instead of Thome

Some of his rants are pretty damn funny though. I would rather hear him be honest and just let it fly than hear lou be a politician and say nothing of substance while defending his shitty players.

Not against his rants. I think they are almost all exactly what he is thinking, just don't like others trying to explain them as something more than they are, A RANT! Not designed to do anything more than allow Ozzie to vent.

How do they take away focus from poor play when each one includes several team members being called out by name?

I'm suprised no one has taken a swing at that little punk for all the people he has bad mouthed in the media over the years. Manny Acta should have ended this series by offering Ozzie a job as an assistant on his staff when the time comes.
