No way the Bears could go 3-0 on the road against Philli, Atlanta and Dallas. They played the Colts tough and they almost came back to beat the Seahawks in Seattle. They have more weapons then the Bears and their D has come around. Their next 3 are all winable and at home and they will hand the Bears their first loss of the season. The good news is the Bears already have a 2 game lead over them for Home feild advantage, and the Bears have an easier schedule. Not to say the Bears cant end up being a better team but I have been more impressed by the Giants at this point.

That Giants offense is impressive. I wonder, though, if Tiki Barber will be able to run outside as effectively against the Bears as he did against Dallas. When he's at his best, he beats the defense to the corner. I'm not sure he can do that against Brown and Ogunleye (assuming Adewale returns to the lineup). I'll also be curious to see how Tommie Harris fares against the Giants offensive line. If he has a big day, Manning won't be able to find Shockey in the middle of the field and will likely make some crucial mistakes.

The Giants defense doesn't impress me that much. They had R.W. McQuarters covering Terrell Owens one-on-one yesterday. 'Nuff said.....Strahan is still a beast, though.

I have really come to love Tikie Barber's running style. It's the most unique style in the league. You guys notice how he shifts his body when he's about to take a hit. It's never a full blow. He's quick, fast, and tough. I'm really going to miss him if he retires. Giants are defidently a threat. They probrally have the most talent in the NFL. But they tend to play bad games when they shouldn't--despite there talent.

I'm not one to get into the comparative scores game of "X team beat Y team and y team beat z team, therefore x is better than Z". It's all about the matchups. Some teams match up better with certain teams than others.

The Bears likely will be concerned about their offensive line's ability to contain the Giants pass rush (how many times did Zona get to Rex) and their secondary's ability to cover the quick passing game -- which Carolina last year and Arizona this year succeeded so well in exploiting. The Giants likely will be concerned with the Bears' speed at linebacker that will make it very difficult for Tiki to gain much yardage running outside the tackles. The Giants also likely will be concerned with their secondary's ability to cover the Bears' speed (Davis, Berrian) at WR.
The team with the better pass rush that night wins. Given time, both of these QBs will make plays....assuming of course that Rex doesn't revert to his schizophrenia of being the brilliant Dr. Jekyll at home and erratic Mr. Hyde on the road. So far, he has had one decent game on the road (Green Bay) and two bad ones (Minny and Zona). He throws another clunker in the Meadowlands and they will get beat.

I agree with Beardown. I watched a Giants game a few weeks ago and they didn't play well. Their offense can put up some numbers but the Bears defense is good. Giants defense is coming around but it's still a little suspect. Rex needs to have a good game though.

I dunno Nas', everyone was saying that Leinert was gonna have to change his "depends" at halftime, as much as he was gonna shit his pants against the Bears....

Moose got knocked pretty good against the Cardnials, but I think he's only had alligator arms on one play this year, and it was that game. The guy has been going over the middle and leaving his feet to catch balls all year.
