Vs. Buffalo Bills on November 7th.

The full NFL 2010 schedule hasn't been released yet, but a few pieces of news are starting to trickle out, and one of them is the date and opponent for the Buffalo Bills' annual regular-season game in Toronto.

The Globe and Mail reports that the Chicago Bears will play the Bills at the Rogers Centre on Sunday, November 7.

The report notes that this scheduling could be a cause for concern for the Canadian Football League: It will be the first time an NFL game is played in Canada before the CFL season is over. In fact, the 1 p.m. Bears-Bills game probably won't be over before the Toronto Argonauts' game at Montreal starts at 4 p.m. Eastern.

The Bills played home games in Toronto in 2008 and 2009, but those games were in December, after the Grey Cup. This time the NFL is stepping onto the CFL's turf before the CFL season is completed.

The Buffalo Bills cut a deal with Toronto's Rogers Centre a couple years ago in an effort to build a fan base "North of the Border". I'm not so sure it's much of a home field advantage for the Bills, and both times they've been a "home" team in their annual game in Toronto, they've lost to the Dolphins and Jets respectively.

When NFL Network releases its 2010 schedule tonight at 6p on NFL Network, I hope Bears' Radio voices Jeff Joniak, Tom Thayer & Zach Zaidman are ready to be not only overwhelmed, but ready to spend Thanksgiving Day at the Cowboys' cavernous new stadium in Arlington, TX.

This is a pretty good deal for the Bears at it makes an away game into a neutral site game.

I'll believe it(the Bears playing in Toronto) when Zach Zaidman has spoken....his word is LAW!!!

I don't understand why Ralph Wilson doesn't sell the Bills already. He's almost 100, his health is failing, and the only other sports venture(s) that have lost more money than the Bills are the Phoenix Coyotes and Chicago 2016. The uniforms are the worst that has ever been worn by a professional sports franchise and I am including the late 70's White Sox. They have a sweet throwback uni that I don't understand why they don't make it their full time one. From what I have been reading, the gentleman who made the deal for the "Toronto series" will probably have first dibs on purchasing the Bills and will most likely move them to Toronto, giving the NFL it's first international team.
