i'm pretty pissed off about this...but on my most recent run i seemed to have sprained my ankle, leaving it pretty swollen. it's healing but i don't know that it'll be completely 100% by saturday. if i can't run on it by friday i'm going to have to bow out, unfortunately.

i really wanted to start my training this week, too.
