Quentin looks lost. His swings off Wade Davis were downright feeble. Not that anyone else swung that well.

Nice to see Andruw in the 3 hole, he has been having good at bats, but I would have put him in right and kept Rios in there. Kotsay sucks.

I think part of the reason why Mark Kotsay's in there tonight at first base is to give Paul Konerko a breather in the field, Apologist. That explains why Konerko's the DH this eve. As for Vizquel, I want the #11 put back in retirement for starters. More important, Gordon Beckham, like many other White Sox hitters, is scuffling at the plate. He's only hitting .228 right now and has only 1 hit in his last 12 at-bats. That doesn't mean we won't see Beckham & Alex Rios as the game progresses.

Glad to see Ozzie has the .174/.222/.196 man hitting 5th AGAIN.

Stubborn! Son! Of! A! Bitch!

So instead of having the .174 guy hit 5th, should he put the .201 guy, the .196 guy, or the .223 guy there?

Put Pierre on top, Konerko and Jones somewhere in the middle, and just draw the names out of a hat. There is some stellar managing occurring around town these days.

It's a temporary fix but I'd like to see him switch Teahen and AJ. I know Teahen isn't exactly lighting the world on fire but at least he's getting on base .222/.378/.389. AJ is an automatic out right now and hasn't hit a ball hard all season. Bury his swing-at-everything ass in the bottom of the lineup.

They were lucky to get 1 run out of all that. AJ and Kotsay couldn't hit water if they fell out of a fuckin boat.

I think Peavy threw 50 pitches that inning. He shouldn't come out for the 4th.

Seven walks now (a career high) and the game is far from over.

Someone please tell me this is not the Peavy I will be watching a year from now. I can't believe how truly bad he is right now. 7 walks are you kidding me?

Does anybody remember the horror of watching games at old Olympic Stadium in Montreal? Watching last night, I got an Olympic Stadium type feeling, circa 2001.

Empty seats have returned to U.S. Cellular Field, folks. I realize this team is off to a miserable start and isn't playing good baseball by any means, but Ozzie already seems resigned to this being a lost season on the Southside if what he said in his postgame news conference means anything following their latest loss, a 10-2 loss to the Rays last night.

Ozzie rested Gordon Beckham & Alex Rios, put Andruw Jones in the #3 spot in center field, had Omar "Enough with the #11!" Vizquel at second base, Paul Konerko DH-ing, Mark Kotsay at first base & Carlos Quentin batting 6th. Nothing worked...
