Can't wait for the annual Hooterville World Series just to see how the print media in this town tries to hype it in their cheerleading fashion.
Interviews with "TRUE FANS" at the games will also be priceless....This will be about fan "pride" and "bragging rights"!!!
LMAO!!!!

Sorry the White Sox suck, Turd.
Maybe a real Farm System may be in order.
I want something better for the Sox Fans....that makes me an asshole in your book...fine.
Guess what....we are CUSTOMERS of a PRODUCT at the Ballpark.... WE PAY...the Cubs and White Sox are not a RELIGION...they are a business.....AND THEY BOTH SUCK.

I'm going Saturday. We'll be tailgating on the north side of 35th St if anybody wants to stop by for a beer and/or a dog.

I don't dispute any of that.

I just find it ironic that you can't wait to jump on anybody who writes anything even remotely positive about the team and label them a FANBOY resident of HOOTERVILLE. All the while, you are the dipshit who keeps ponying up for season tickets year after year for a product that you thinks sucks and clearly brings you nothing but grief.

ADVERTISING!

Turd, in some ways regarding the Sox, all Sox Fans are on the same page.

We can bitch like cats and dogs here, but we want the same thing.

My patience level with the organization is a tad short.

You understand that this is a GENERATIONAL curse...Sox Fandom...passed on from generation to generation.....and this year I only kept 6 of my own games.....
I am one of the biggest SOX FANBOYS around.....I mock Hooterville because I AM HOOTERVILLE.....
I know the drill in this Town.....

I know that we want the same thing, Bob. Maybe its a matter of expectations and mine are probably significantly lower than yours. I don't ever expect that the Sox are going to be the Yankees. I am happy if they are competitive in their division most years and have a chance at the postseason when September rolls around.

It is looking more and more like that will not be the case this year. I'm disappointed, but I will still get a lot of enjoyment out of the season. I am looking forward to watching the continued development of Beckham, Danks and Floyd, as well as Santos. I like watching Quentin hit and Buehrle pitch.

All I want from this organization is some degree of consistency.
I'll pay attention to the young guys this year.....Cowley's take today in the Times is interesting....
I am sick of this piecing together a team every Winter...I sure as hell WILL TOLERATE a rebuilding plan if there is reason for optimism....
I don't know where this shit in this town started that Sox Fans and Cubs Fans WON'T STAND FOR REBUILDING....they are always rebuilding...just do it with YOUNGER TALENTED players.

My definition of a great year:
1) Bears beat the Packers twice
2) Sox beat the Cubs
3) Bulls "compete hard" in the first round of a playoff series
4) Blackhawks get shown on tv at least 50% of the time.

That's exactly the way I feel. We're talking about a team that has won 3 championships in 135 years. I feel sorry for a guy like Bernstein who apparently thinks if a team doesn't win the whole thing, there's no point.

you forgot the AL beating the NL in the all star game, and a big ten team beating an SEC team in a bowl game.
