I feel bad for the guy. My prayers are with him and from what it sounds like, he will be able to overcome this.

^I believe the Karl family is like 3-0 vs cancer and from the looks of it soon to be 4-0

You don't have to rub it in Baku.

You didn't see me posting anything when my guy Brandon Jennings gave it to y'all the other night.

well yes, in fact, I do have to rub it in. that's part of what makes the message board go 'round :D

and the difference between Brandon Jennings giving it to my Hawks is that my team is still up 2-1 and is not in jeopardy of being eliminated, whereas yours is down 3-1 and hanging on for dear life

it would have been basically the same thing to ask a celtics fan..."how do you like my heat now?" after winning a survival game...and hearing "how do you like what my guys did to you thursday night?" if you're a cavs fan from a bulls fan.

now...you look at what the thunder and blazers have done...at least they've put some actual pressure on the teams they're playing. while i think the suns and lakers most likely advance, *now* it's a series at least, because it has to go 6 games.

Why aren't the experts worried about the Lakers? Why do they continue to compare this to the Rockets series (when Yao and McGrady were injured)? The Sonics have enough talent to pull off an upset in 6.

Huh? Maybe...not sure what your point is. I guess the difference is I didn't say the Hawks would win before the played the Cavs last year. And I've said repeatedly I don't think they can beat the Magic in the next round. You can't have it both ways, claiming the Mavs are title contenders then when they get their ass beat compare them to a less heralded team. At least the Hawks lose to higher seeded, better teams. The Mavs have lost to a #8 seed and are about to lose to a #7 seed.

I am not just speaking of this year, but historically. Both the Mavs and Hawks have taken their share of beatdowns.

And like a certain someone told me, when you actually make predictions, some times you are going to be wrong.

Good slate of games coming up tomorrow Night:

Miami at Boston
Game 5 - Celtics lead 3-1

Chicago at Cleveland
Game 5 - Cavaliers lead 3-1

San Antonio at Dallas
Game 5 - Spurs lead 3-1

Oklahoma City at LA Lakers
Game 5 - Series tied 2-2

Obviously the Bulls are done, but i'll still watch. Im really looking forward to LA/OKC. This is OKC's must win game. They will not win a game 7 in LA, so this is the one they must steal.

I cant see how they win another game. And I also cant figure out why Wade would even consider returning(Yes I do realize they can add another max guy)

Anyone else think Carlos Boozer has solidly leapfrogged Amare in terms of offseason FA's? I always considered them similar, with the same flaws, the only real notable difference obviously being Amare's explosive ability. Carlos Boozer has been playing great d and team ball all year and he's really playing perfect basketball alongside Williams this series. Jazz/Thunder should be a good series.

I havent been listening to the same experts apparently. I would assume they noticed like most of us in this section did that the Lakers were in trouble before the postseason started. I dont think many picked LA to win the title this year. I had them at least making it out of the first round, but didnt think they'd go far, still dont.

He has been playing real good. My concerns with him would be:

Is he only playing like this to get a big pay day and then he will revert backwards?

How much is his current level of play attributed to Sloan if he goes to a team with a coach he does not respect (ie the Bulls) would he still play the same way?

Right, my counterpoint would be that Amare is playing with(by all accounts) one of the three funnest players to play with of the past 20 years and he still has much more work on those issues than Boozer. As funny as this might sound, I would feel Noah would be a good influence on Boozer. The Bulls are Rose and Noah's team right now, nobody else's. Obviously that needs to be amended by July 1st before moving forward.

Ray Felton might be one of the worst point guards I've ever seen starting for a playoff qualifier in the NBA:

He can't shoot
But he shoots a ton.
He doesn't just miss-he bricks so hard I thought he might legit hurt somebody trying to rebound his shot.
He makes the worst playmaking decisions this side of Chris Morris.

Larry Brown looks like he wants to order a firing squad for him.

Bagels, great game tonight and I didn't think the Bucks had this in them. They looked life-less and outmatched the first 2 games. I have been out of town traveling and not been able to watch like I would have wanted to( I was stuck at a baseball tournament with a bunch of 11 year olds, while it rained :( ). Hopefully, they hold on and you and I could have some fun discussion over the next few games.
