I think the Bears did alright for the little they had to work with. Hard to argue with the third and fourth round picks. I liked the LeFevour pick. They didnt really fuck anything up and got a probable starter/impact player in the third.

It's Wootton, not Wooten. But don't worry, even took us Wildcat fans about 4 years to figure that one out too!
He's actually a pretty versatile DE. He had a pretty bad ACL tear, so he was only really 100% his Sophomore year. The guy has a ton of upside and is very coachable. Given our defense, they actually dropped him back in coverage every now and then. He's deceptively quick for his massive 6'7" frame. I hope he stays healthy for the Bears... and I think you'll be surprised at what he can do.

I'd like you to be able to do so. I like Wooten but would it really be out of the ordinary for the Bears to IR him and use this as a redshirt year (even as Angelo said he wanted 3 guys to dress on Sundays out of this draft)?

On another team, I think Wooten could be an opening day defensive end.
