Logan plays the weasel role very well.

Bauer is going rogue. He's going to fuck shit up. Im predicting he recruits Tony somehow into this. I guess we'll see.

I was disappointed by the lack of a good Jack Bauer killing spree last night.

I hope they bring Tony back into this. He's always been one of my favorite characters.

I don't like the way they've been writing this season.

So, Chloe has spent years skirting rules and breaking laws to support Jack with whatever he does and then Jack steals a helicopter and she orders him shot down? Where does that come from?

Bringing Tony back would be a good thing.

Which makes me wonder...with only six hours left, will that shadow group from last year come into play or was that just a one year deal?

She stopped her agents from shhooting him before he took off.
I believe she is trying to get the Air Force to force him down, not kill him.

How can they force him down unless they shoot down the chopper or damage it in some other way so he crashes?

Air Force Dude: Mr. Bauer, land this chopper immediately!

Jack Bauer: No. What are you going to do about it, shoot me down?

Air Force Dude: Actually, no.

I think that would be bad TV.

How did they "force" him down? It looked to me like Bauer landed that thing by his own actions. And that helicopter hi-jacking was extremely lame. It was the cliffhanger last week, and Jack landed about 3 minutes after that. How exciting...

As I was watching that last night, I was thinking to myself that this was almost verbatim how Douchebag predicted this "standoff" would go down.

Nice call SteveSarley.

That only did that happen in a span of 3 minutes but so did the BIG MISTAKE by the President. Like she had no choice about something she committed to 5 minutes ago.... lameo.

Think you are just going to have to wait, unfortunately.

Really good episode tonight I thought. I was hoping that Jack was going to recruit Tony to help him with all of this. Maybe saving that for the movie.

Jack with the double tap on that dumb b is definitely a high point of the season

I still think Tony is going to come back. At this point who else could Jack trust? Humilating the government and the president is something Tony would want to do anyway.

Maybe it's just me but - Jack is just straight up murdering people now? I guess it makes sense that after these many years he's just losing it.

But, it took him two years to kill Nina and even at that time she was a threat to his safety. I don't know. It just felt weird to me.

Jack is over the edge. Bet he kills himself at the end

Let's keep one thing in mind when dealing with 24. Expect the unexpected. I think all this "24 movie" talk is a bluff. It's all bull. Jack is going to die and they are trying to throw us all off.

The movie doesn't have to be after this day.

I'm starting to come around to the thinking that the series will end with a gun in Jack's mouth as the clock ticks to the final second and we either get the movie or are left to wonder if he ever pulled the trigger...

Lot's of bad writing.

Last season, the President was willing to sacrifice her daughter and marriage for integritiy's sake, but we are supposed to believe that she will ignore this whole assasination, bomb threat, working with Charles Logan thing because she wants to see this peace treaty go through? Right...

Freddie Pinze Jr's character (can't remember his name) was willing to get shot by the russian-fake-cop-terrorist earlier in the season rather than radio his guys and give them bad info even though he was being held at gunpoint. On the last episode, Jack holds him at gunpoint and tells him to call CTU and tell them that he (Jack) has been captured. This was before giving him and explanation as to what was going on. OK...

A lot can happen in 12 hours.

I'm all for suspending disbelief, but those are a couple of things that really can't be explained away for me. Love the show, and I understand that the whole draw is due to the plot twists and what not. But c'mon...these people have changed that much in the same day? Ridiculous....

And when are they going to find the dead parole officer hidden in the confernce room wall? That's going to be fun...
