Just can't wait for the annual Kenny Williams cynical sound bite where he assigns blame to White Sox Fans for his inability to acquire a player or two in July!!!!

Hawk was on his A (as in asshole) game last night blaming umpires and especially the "bad" (not) balls & strikes being called....as always against the sox. Coming out a commercial last night they showed a called third strike to Rios that ended the previous half inning. It was a curveball, outside corner, borderline but with 2 strikes....If it were a sox pitcher he would have said it was where it crossed the plate...yadda...Instead it was a sox batter and he said "that is just terrible right there". At which time Steve Stone said absolutely nothing and left Hawk looking and sounding like the asshat that he is.

If you ask me right now, I will tell you that I will be thrilled if Kenny is blaming the fans when July comes around. That will mean that the Sox have found a way to get into the race and are looking for players to help down the stretch.

Unfortunately, I don't see any way that is going to happen. The Sox are likely going to be sellers in July, so there should not be any need to blame the fans.
