And, yes, seems to me that message board members posting their thoughts/feelings about the subject of a given forum MAKES A LOT OF SENSE.

I think the point of this thread was the repeating of the same things over and over. I am guilty of this....I have stated my opinion of what McNeil has become and I will let it be.

I admit that I do not read every thread posted here ... but isn't complaining about the repetitive nature of some topics pointless if:

1) It only adds MORE threads
2) The SEARCH feature here doesn't really work
3) There is little-no moderation done .. so if the moderators/admin don't care about repetitive topics enough to MERGE them, why should the junior deputy wannabe mods be SO concerned about them?

The difference there is that I'll watch parts of Cubs games, and I'll hear about them on various sports talk shows.

Gloopan, Seward, SID etc. claim they don't listen to Mac, but have plenty of thoughts on what makes this show bad.

I never claimed to NOT listen to the show - I listened to it, quite a bit, early on and thought it was bad (but knew it might take time). I then listened in occasionally, like maybe once per week just to see what it sounded like. Eventually I just bailed on it completely, and recently came back to hear what it sounds like. I'd says in the last few weeks I've tuned in once every couple of days and gave it a listen.

I realize that a guy coming in here and posting things, who is NOT part of the usual suspects, REALLY sets some people off ... but, good Lord, for as much bitching and wannabe-moderating and judging as some of you do, I would think you might take a look at your 20,000 posts that only comment on the nature of others comments and realize how lame that is.

I get it, some people have been here a long time so they get a license to crap on things and move on. At some point I would think it would become tiresome running around this board making sure to crap on other people's supremely crappy and useless posts/threads. Or not.
