I can't believe the Bucks won  , the Hawks could not score down the stretch and gave the game to the Bucks. Now, I know the Bucks defense was good, but not that good. I think I figured out where I am going to be Friday night.

very depressing. terrible effort.

joe johnson choked big time. 13 points in a critical game 5? fouling out with 2 minutes left? and thanks to the "iso joe" offense once he left the team looked lost and crawford was broke

That's the life of a gunner. When he's on he can put a team on his back. When he's off, he's John Starks in Finals Game 7.

it was that "cocky attitude" the hawks had going into game 3 that "pumped up" the bucks. clearly that's what this is about.

I think Nas was right. This series will be decided by the coaching. Last night was a clinic by Skiles. He kicked Woodson's ass.

As for the Denver FT deal.. From what I watched of them in the regular season with Karl, and this series with AD, they seem overall to play alot more passive. They seem to run simpler sets and dont attack as much. I think the actual coaching ability is more of a factor than percieved lack of respect from the refs to Dantley.

I agree and it sure makes me miss having Skiles as the coach of the Bulls.

i won't go as far as to say the players quit on Woodson, but they sure don't have a lot of respect for him

and yeah, i think Skiles is a very good coach but as has been mentioned numerous times before, his act has a shelf life

So do you think the Hawks are done or do you think they bounce back and take the series?

For some unknown reason I still think they will come back and take the series. My only logic is this: for as poorly as the played last night overall, they could have and should have won that game. They were up 10 with a few minutes to play. I've seen nearly every Hawks game this year and that was one of the worst games they've played. So that's really my only consolation- that if in their worst game they only lost by a few, they should be able to turn it around. I can't really expect Joe Johnson to only score 13 again and foul out, nor would I expect Crawford to shoot 4-16 or whatever he was. I know that's not the best reasoning but it's all I'm going on now. The problem is going to be winning the road game. However, if you can't beat the Milwaukee Bucks on the road w/o Bogut in the playoffs, you probably deserve to be eliminated. Johnson was totally on point saying they're not tough. Horford and Smith can be an intimidating frontline, but they're getting completely outhustled and outclassed by freaking Dan Gadzuric and Kurt Thomas. Horford tried to body up Thomas and got schooled last night, it was probably the saddest thing I've seen all year. Almost made me want to retire my Horford shirt. If you can't take Kurt Thomas who's like as old as Julio Franco you're in trouble

My head says they will come back but in my heart I have no faith at all right now

Nothing good ever happens at the Waffle House:
Quote:
Lakers' Fisher denies altercation reports

Lakers guard Derek Fisher strongly denied reports that he was involved in an altercation with a man at a Waffle House in Oklahoma City last week, when the Lakers were in town playing the Thunder in Games 3 and 4 of their best-of-seven first-round playoff series.

"It has been brought to my attention that media in Oklahoma City is reporting I was in an altercation with a man last week while the team was in town for the playoffs. These reports are false," Fisher said. "I was not involved in any altercation and would have hoped that the media would check their sources and facts before reporting or insinuating that I was in any way violent."

The story first broke last week on an Oklahoma City radio station and has subsequently spread virally over the Internet.

Fisher, head of the NBA Players Association, said an altercation did take place -- but it was last year -- and he was actually an innocent bystander, and served as a witness for police.

"To be clear, over a year ago, I was a witness to an altercation at a Waffle House in Oklahoma City after a regular season game," Fisher said. "The police were called after a fight broke out between two patrons. I reported what I had seen, was thanked by the police for my assistance and returned to my hotel. I was an innocent bystander and simply assisted police that evening. I will not be making any further comment on the matter."

 Yeah I am sure any joy you get from the Mavs losing will be gone if the Hawks lose to the Bucks.
