I used to collect Basketball and Comic (Marvel/DC) cards back in the day. I'm prety sure I still have a ton of them in my parents basement.

When did this thread turn into "Why I'm a nerd"?

That's what they all say ... then they finally decide one day to see what they've got and -whoops- ma threw them all out ... even the rookie cards.

My dad got me one of these from Australia and I spent hours learning to toss it.
Never did get the hang of it but was sure fun trying.

Dork League

I'm a full fledged member too. I saved all the 1999 Ep. 1 Pepsi, Coke, Mountain Dew Cans as well as the boxes. :alien:

Adding to my dorkdom, my entire attic is filled with all my Star Wars stuff with shelves built into the wall, etc...
I call it "Admiral Atticbar". :eye:

I have a couple bins full of this stuff as well. I have an almost complete set of figurines from some
Hollywood Video type store that used to be in every mall but I think went out of business. Can't
remember the store name.... whatever. Anyway the figurines are about 10 to 12 inches tall and I
think I have Han, Chewie, Luke, Leia, Darth, 3PO, R2 and the only one I am missing is Obi Wan. Can't
find it online anywhere. I think i will be cleaning out the basement here in the next few weeks so if I
decide to unload any of this stuff should I let you guys know? I am not sure I want the hassle of
trying to sell it on eBay and if I charged anything at all it would be beer or something, possibly nothing
at all. I will likely keep the original movie posters from Episodes I - III though. I can use those.

i have a bunch of figures still in the boxes from the new trilogy, too. i have darth maul from episode 1, and a few from eps 2 and 3. doubt any of them are rare. they're probably not worth anything. but i enjoyed collecting them. it was kind of fun. made me feel like a kid again.

There used to be one by me growing up. Over around 95th and Commercial. That place was the best. You could buy a pizza, ICEE, and a paraquite all in the same store. This was way before Walmart...
