Andy Garcia is gone no doubt.

The second one is a bit harder... I have it between prissy Katie, jolly Mike, and earnest Aaron. And after much reflection, I think Mike will be sent home even though the other two deserve it more.

I would be AMAZED if Andrew survives past this one.

I was only half watching this episode. Didn't hear any real stand out performances.
Big Mike's acoustic version of In The Ghetto was pretty good but it is just too hard
in my opinion to make an Elvis tune "your own". They keep complaining about certain
performers sounding old fashioned, gee wonder if that is because you force them to
choose from old songs? Let them do whatever they want next week so they can
try to establish their own identity. Really starting to not care about this show, I
have only half tuned in the last 3 or 4 weeks. No idea who will go home this week,
but I know it is probably between the same 4 people or so.

Mike will survive. The close call last week will mobilize his supporters to call.

1) Bowersox did what she always does - can't even remember the song she did.
2) Garcia was terrible. Last night he pulled a Mike Vick on "Hound Dog" and needs to go home.
3) I was hoping Bluto would rip away Urban's guitar and smash it on the floor.
4) Lee did a very solid version of "A little less conversation" - best of the night
5) Aaron crapped all over "blue suede shoes"
6) Siobhan did something I didn't like with my favorite Elvis non Blue Christmas song "suspicious minds", but she'll be OK.
7) Mike sang the words to "in the ghetto" but I'm not sure what the melody was?
8) Katie sang “What Do You Want Me To Do?” I wanted to answer pick a better song.
9) Casey did a song i didn't know. I think it was from one of the Elvis movies.

Other than Lee, and overcaffineted Seacrest pretty blah night.

With 2 being eliminated tonight, I don't see how Garcia isn't one of them. I'd pick one of the 16-17 year olds as the other, but who knows.

Personally, 1 I liked a little early that gets more annoying every week is Siobahn.

Garcia was brutal. He has to be going home. I'd also like to see Aaron go home as well, but it is a little more open -- maybe the smug teen witch will be sent packing.

Once again America got it right.
If only political electoral process was as accurate.
Now next week is Idol gives back which in the past meant no eliminations, but I can't remember if the week following was a two-fer.
The next two the get the axe should be Aaron & Urban, which will leave a pretty strong top 5.

1) Bowersox still leads but needs another memorable performance
2) Lee has been getting better each of the last 3 or 4 weeks
- pretty big gap to:
3) Casey has been solid
- another pretty big gap:
4) Siobhan has been steadily dropping
5) Mike got a scare and stepped it up
- HUGE gap
6) Urban the Disney/Nick act can't hide the fact that he's got no pipes to keep up with the top 5
7) Aaron's weak song choices will get him send home in the next two weeks.

I think you are underestimating Urban. His last two performances have been really quite good. He definitely doesn't have the same vocal range as Crystal/Lee/Mike/Sioban, but he's found his niche and he can go far with it. Plus once Aaron leaves, a lot of the 13 year old girl vote is going to swing to him.

I think Big Mike is horrendously overrated.

I think Siobhan is hot in a nerdy kinda way.

She better start picking better songs, and sing one without the big screaming note.

Siobhan turned into a one trick pony with her screaming high notes and
everything else she did became exposed to the voting public. Should be
an interesting next few weeks but I have to assume Big Mike and Aaron
Kelly are next setting up a final matchup of Bowersox and DeWyze.

Has that Aaron Kelly kid ever been in the bottom 3? I dont think he is that good...and should be the next to go. However, I think since he is 16/17...that he gets the votes from the 16 year old girls out there. Who know show to text better & faster than 16 yr old girls?

Anyway....Shania Twain (sp?) still looks hot.

I thought she looked like she was losing her fastball, my wife agreed, still hot but not as hot as she once was.

Assuming what she is trying to hold together there is mostly natural, she is doing ok for
an almost 45 yr old woman. Overall, I'd have to agree with the assessment. She is
tossing low to mid 80s fastballs.

He'll stick around longer than his talent calls for because of his age/look. The judges keep talking about him being a country singer. I don't follow country music much, but I can't recall many (any) male teenager country singers? Anyone have examples?

Everyone talks about the Bowersox final, but I wonder. I think she's talented, but guys seem to last longer in this thing. I'm not an 'Idol' expert, but I seem to remember a lot more guys in the final 2 than girls. Am I wrong?

Really like Harry Connick Jr. and the way he is really working with the singers.
Should be interesting tonight.

Zero doubt in my mind that Casey is done tomorrow. I'd say it was close between him and the kid, but there's probably a lot of votes for him just because he's the 'cute little kid'.

Looks like Bowersox/Dewyze final is shaping up... would still give the nod to Bowersox right now if they allow the artists to pick their own songs. I find it a little unfair when they force a female to sing a Sinatra song or a male to sing a Twain song.

I thought the whole show sucked last night. Sinatra? Come on. I fast forwarded through much of it. The best part was I had it on DVR...watched the whole flippen thing in about 15 minutes. :)

Other than the right guy going home, this whole week stunk.
Terrible performances by all involved - including Sourbox
It sounded like the 1st week of top 24 not the final 5.
Thankfully that's over on now we can move on to "Bad Kenny Loggins, Phil Collins &, and Bryan Adams movie songs from the 80's" week.

What's up with this list?

Looking more like a Lee vs. Crystal finale. Lee really performed well last night
and he may have a shot at winning it all.

Plus...Lee had Simon pick his song for him...and I assume help with the arraignment. He was good. I agree him & Crystal in the final.

I haven't watched in about a month but it's getting to the end. I tape it and fast forward
through commercials and stuff so I only waste about 15 or 20 minutes on it.
