That was a terribly worded question. It sounded as though he was trying to make the question sound deeper and more insightful than it actually was. Still not sure why he has such a hard time with the concept of firing one coach because you want a better one...
Yup. His insight made him sound like quite the douche. This isn't rocket surgery. You fire a coach to get a better one or possibly a better fit for the organization. Maybe ask what type of coach he wants to hire...style of offense/defense, college or nba background etc. His general question may have already been asked but not answered to his liking. He decided to kick the question up a notch. That is the only explanation I can come up with in his defense. It failed.
