This one (1) hour special is currently airing on "HBO On Demand," and takes a very interesting look at the early 1970's Philadelphia Flyers. Perhaps some of you will remember Dave "The Hammer" Schultz, who is featured rather prominently both in current interviews and vintage footage.

I vividly remember watching this Flyers team when I was about 8 or 9. As an avid fan of the New York Rangers, I despised everything about the Flyers. I thought they were goons, and were ruining a beautiful game that I played and loved. Therefore, I began watching this documentary with the anticipation that my childhood hatred would resurface with great intensity. Surprisingly, however, I found myself watching with a comforting sense of warm nostalgia. Bobby Clarke, Ed Van Impe and Dave Schultz actually appear likeable in this show!

I highly recommend this show, along with HBO's one (1) hour special about Hall of Famer Lawrence Peter "Yogi" Berra.

I started watching this the other night and ended up DVRing it for later as I
fell asleep. Looking forward to watching the rest of it.

Just finished watching this. It was really well made, and it reminded me how much I miss listening to Bill Clement do hockey on ESPN.

I finished this up last night and it was pretty good. I didn't know anything about
this team at all going into it. I found it interesting that they played the Soviet
national team back when they were a huge power in hockey. Some real nice
footage and good interviews. It was a solid, short documentary.
