Given the number of first round busters we've had, I'd have been okay with the trade as Branch is a known quantity and draft picks are the double edged sword of potential.

And there was only one pick involved. The Bulls get 2 in the Curry deal. Talk about theft. I can see Paxson putting the speakerphone on mute and going to himself "Is he really going to give me two picks for this question mark?"

i agree about the top 10 pick. i'd give up a late first rounder for him though. especially given the state of the receivers they ahd at the time.
