Heard them discussing this on Mike and Mike this morning and how it's calculated. Complicated, but this online calculator does the trick. Interesting to see how ratings can change based on "what if" ; he didn't throw that interception or if he had completed 2 extra passes.

Why 158.3 ???
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nigel Tufnel: The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and...
Marty DiBergi: Oh, I see. And most amps go up to ten?
Nigel Tufnel: Exactly.
Marty DiBergi: Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder?
Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?
Marty DiBergi: I don't know.
Nigel Tufnel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?
Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven.
Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder.
Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?
Nigel Tufnel: [pause] These go to eleven.

I remember after seeing LT throwing a TD pass a couple of years ago, I checked his rating. He went 1/1 in that game for like a 10 yard TD, but did not have a perfect rating.

I still do not understand that.

Yeah. Why can't parents get more creative and give their kids unique names so their initials aren't the same as anyone else's.

I don't blame the parents.
They didn't know he'd be an all pro running back.
If he was an accountant going by LT, I wouldn't care.

It was probably Berman who annointed him LT.
LDT just didn't sound right.
