I had been thoroughly engaged with FIFA 10 on the 360 for the last several weeks but I just found out Final Fantasy II (or IV in Nippon) was put on the virtual console for the Wii. So, I dusted off the hype machine for the first time in months and have started playing the old rpg. The camp value of the game is great with all the messed up translations from Japanese to English.

You spoony bard!

Yeah..I golfed 18 holes today and took the dog for a walk around the block. Enough of this outdoor crap I want to go back to doing nothing on the couch but playing some MLB the Show.

I use Vuze to download movies and TV shows, and stream them to the 360. It's my second favorite use of the Xbox behind MW2. But to stay on topic I've been reliving my youth with Perfect Dark for the past week. I forgot how much I hate DarkSims. :)

Tiger Woods 08 on the Wii. I don't like golf, but I can not stop playing this game.

Picked up Fallout 2 cheap. Not sure when I'll get to it as I'm busy with FF 13.

No, I find it a wonderful experience with magnificent sights and sounds wrapped around and engaging story with commanding gameplay.

But then again, its not for everyone.

I wasn't talking about the game itself...I'm talking about only playing one game...I mean, I loved Oblivion and it sucked me in for a few months, but I would never say it was the only game worth playing...same goes for Final Fantasy XIII right now...been playing that ever since it came out, but there will always be something else I want to play (May 3rd, hurry the fuck up and get here)...

Next few weeks? Fuck, I'd imagine Dragon Age could keep you busy for the next few months from what I've heard...

So, we've got "what are you watching" and "what are you listening to" threads, so why not one for "what are you playing?"

Me, I've dusted off an old friend that I'm looking forward to spending many hours on...

And I've got this crazy idea...complete everything...

And I mean EVERYTHING...close every Oblivion gate, fully explore every cave, lair, castle, etc...own and upgrade every property, and then, and only then, complete the main quest, with the expansion to follow...

Here's hoping I can get it done by November 10...

Gonna give this another shot...I figure I've got an extra two hours of gaming each day now, and I can't imagine Reach coming out before late September, so surely this can be done in four months...right?

...

...right?

Welcome to 2010. Keep your eyes peeled for the sequel to Modern Warfare. I hear it's a doosie.

9 month bump FTW!

I don't know why but I bought Metal Gear Solid for PS1 on my PS3... Sure it looks like complete shit, but damn is it fun. Its nice to go back in time when action games like this and Half life would seemingly last 50 hours(mostly because I died so many times). I think I'm gonna replay MGS 2 and 3 to see if I can better understand the story... That shit was too complicated for me when I was younger.
