I was banned for a week from WSI and called a racist for questioning the programming of Ozzie Jr.'s radio show. The self importance of the site as the host got interviewed during the World Series run really helped to end my regularity of posting there.

No banning here unless there are EXTREME circumstances.

That's why WSI sucks. I got banned for trying to start a discussion about favorite beer vendors. Some douchebag apparently was running the show over there. He had a stupid ass signature promoting some BBQ restaurant in another state. Doesn't he know how provincial we are here in Hooterville? Like I give a fuck about the views of some Sox fan in North Carolina. I bought the tickets. I made that commitment. I'm not really going to argue about the team and its future with goofs whose biggest commitment is a few bucks a month for the MLB package. Fuck White Sox Interactive. And good on Big Fan for not running this place with a heavy hand. The views of morons can often be entertaining. They need not be banned.

I got banned there several times. The first was when I forgot to use "teal" and some jackass posted the "funny" Teal Police .gif. I was banned because I jokingly called the "Teal Police" Fascist Stormtroopers. That site blows.

That's probably the problem I have with it. They don't give you any room for fun. Any joking around is grandpa humor.

It's still informative and I do go there. I just rarely post.

I got banned for life, not even sure why? I even know the guy who owns the board and have spoken to him a few times. I sent an email maybe a year later asking why I was banned, and I get some prick answer from what I will say was some kid living in moms basement, because he threw in the tough guy phrases like he was part of a biker death board or something.
