this is pretty dumb

Quote:
Following Lakers coach Phil Jackson's comments on Arizona's anti-illegal immigration law, Los Angeles mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is offering "America's Toughest Sheriff" a lesson on spotting illegal immigrants.

In a letter this week to Phoenix mayor Phil Gordon, Villaraigosa says Los Angeles will accept ownership of Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio if the Suns win. Villaraigosa says a stint in Los Angeles would teach Arpaio that a person's immigration status can't be judged by appearance.

If the Lakers win the Western Conference finals, Villaraigosa says Arizona can have California gubernatorial candidates Steve Poizner and Meg Whitman. Both have ads promising to get tough on illegal immigration.

weird that all of a sudden there are a lot of representatives that are players

seems like half of them are, like 10 years ago if there was 1 or 2 it was weird

well there you go nas

this sucks

wizards suck...i guess this will be a chance for them to rebuild but almost any of the other teams would have been more interesting. him playing with Paul? on a run and gun like the Warriors with Curry?

and no i don't think him and arenas is going to be fun, it's going to suck

Seems to me that this was a win for the Bulls as well.

No chance he wants to play with Devin Harris. Not only can't he shoot he also doesn't play at the pace LeBron wants to play at. I believe the Nets just fell out of the running.

I was thinking about the Bulls. I just didn't want him to go to a team that had a lot of cap space. Mainly the Nets.

Huge win. With no Wall to the Nets, I think Lebron stays away. He should be a Bulls if he really wants to win.

Jerry brought back his lucky pennies. The Bulls have never won a title without Krause.

I understand now. I realized the Lebron-Nets angle but you mentioning the Pacers kinda threw me off

I agree with all of you, the Nets are far less attractive now

i don't think they were ever going to be attractive staying in jersey for another 2 years.

i'm glad the sixers got the 2nd pick. looks like we'll get turner. finally, a big shooting guard.

Arenas has to be on borrowed time there, if he wasnt already. I was also kinda hoping GS would get him. Him and Curry would be so damn fun to watch. Appointment NBA tv.

Yep and I think Jrue can play. Might be a decent rebuilding starting spot. Something to pull them out of perpetual 33-43 win seasons.

What would you do with Ellis? They've had some really good young players and somehow Nellie finds a way to mess them up. I wouldn't trust Wall on that team. He may be starting one day and the next get a DNP.

What about Louis Williams? He played well last season.

I dont know. He seems a little like the guard version of Blatche to me. We've known about him for a few years and his potential talent, but he seems like one of those decent player on a bad team type of guys. I havent seen him enough to have a solid opinion either way though.

Great? Idk about that. I know this is easy to laugh at since its the GSW, but isn't he pretty much the most selfish guy in the league, and actually a pretty inefficient scorer? I'm not gonna look it up right now, but I remember a couple years ago thinking that by now he would be way better.

Nah. They handled Curry fine. It's only promising rookies that arent top 10 picks like Anthony Randolph that Nellie seems to horribly mess up on. Wall would play 35+ MPG anywhere next season.

That's why I asked what would you do with Ellis if they could have drafted Wall. You would have to bring one of them off the bench. Obviously they don't have to worry about that now.
