Quentin is an asshole. I had to stick with him for so long on my fantasy team, so I bench him today and he gets 2 RBIs. Motherfucker

I had him and Teahan. (Teahan was valuable because there are a lot of specifics in postions in my league. He qualifies for almost every one.)

Anyways I dropped both of them.

It was funny when they both scored on the same play.

There's something very wrong with Carlos Quentin...His stats have gone down considerably since he broke his wrist in Cleveland's (Not So) Progressive Field near the end of the 2008 season.

Do they bring in Jenks for the 9th in a non-save situation? I say bring in Pena.

Nice win, Boys. Big game Freddy does it again. Jenks looked really good.

btw- Pierre had a 2 run double today.

By my recollection Freddy has only had 1 bad start this year. You can't say the same of the "Big 4"

Freddy Garcia, Apologist, might have a little value for a contending team if the White Sox decide to rebuild...

For what it's worth, this is tonight's White Sox lineup...While they've got Andruw Jones and Carlos Quentin listed in right field and both Paul Konerko & Mark Kotsay listed at first base, here's what I think it should look like...You'll notice Alex Rios' name is conspicously absent.

1 Juan Pierre LF
12 A.J. Pierzynski C
25 Andruw Jones CF
14 Paul Konerko DH
7 Mark Kotsay 1B
20 Carlos Quentin RF
23 Mark Teahen 3B
10 Alexei Ramirez SS
15 Gordon Beckham 2B

Jake Peavy, not Mark Buehrle, starts this eve vs. Anaheim's Ervin Santana. Buehrle starts the Marlins' Interleague Series tomorrow night.

I am predicting a blow out tonight, and not in the Sox's favor.

Rios is being kept out of the lineup in anticipation of that Boston trade, Rios and AJ for Martinez, Cameron and Hermida.

You think if you keep saying this enough it will make it true?

A correction on my part...Paul Konerko's playing first base and Mark Kotsay's the DH for the slumping White Sox. As if it matters at this point...

Keyser, I could give a rat's ass! It doesn't matter at this point! The Twins are still the team to beat in the A.L. Central, and likely will have $$$$ to spend at the trade deadline, thanks to their new ballpark Target Field. Right now, Keyser, even if I won tickets from the SCORE to a "future White Sox game", I wouldn't go! This team is beyond bad and the Cubs aren't much better! :x

Technically, 6-5 not a blow out. Just blow.

Andruw on the bench and Kotsay at DH. Ozzie may get a swift kick to the nuts tonight.

btw- interleague play sucks.

Mark Kotsay & Alexei Ramirez both homered in tonight's 8-0 White Sox winner over the Marlins, plus Ramirez doubled home 2 more runs off losing pitcher Ricky Nolasco. Needless to say, Mark Buehrle had Florida hitters in a fog all night at the Cell as he and Sergio Santos combined on a 3-hit shutout win...

Kotsay was the hitting star so no swift kick to the nuts for Ozzie.

That's the way a baseball game should be played. A 2 hour and 8 minute ass kicking. Any chance Gavin can follow suit today?? Any at all??

I luv to watch Mark Buehrle pitch.

Of course after a 3-hit shutout, IrishBoy is nowhere to be found with his silly little "ACE" remark. Not surprised.

I was siting 20 rows beind the plate. He defintely had his A stuff last night.

AJ gets the day off so Ozzie moves red hot Alexei to the 2 hole. Move a guy up in the order while he's hot?? Novel concept, Oz.
