The part when Jack bit off part of Pillar's ear was the best 24 moment in the history of the show. That was great. Overall the finale was pretty good, but I didn't like the ending. If they were going to do a movie, they could have set it up with some huge cliffhanger, or big payoff, but none of that happened. Overall I was happy with it, but the last 10 minutes were kind of meh...

Bummed Aaron Pierce didn't keep his streak alive.

The best scene from the whole season was Jack in the attack gear taking down Logan's car in the tunnel.

Ending was ok. It tied up the season pretty well.

It was a good season finale and an average series finale. About what I would have expected.

I really enjoyed the scene with Jack yelling at Chloe to shoot him.

No, the best scene was using the propane torch on the guy, hitting him with acid, then cutting the sim card out of him.

Imagine the torture and gore they can show in the movies.

The last four hours had a lot of good "best scene ever" candidates...Jack in the tunnel with Logan pissing himself...Jack smirking as he has Logan in his sights...and yeah, the ear bite...all good stuff...

Finally watched it last night. Food finale, not great. Leaves things open for the movie(s). It occured to me as I was watching that Jack Bauer dying would have really pissed me off. Not because I love neat little endings, but because it wouldn't seem....right. He's survived a ton of shit and has lost nearly everything good in his life. He's been brought back from the dead and tortured in a Chinese prison. Him just getting shot by some dude or even Chloe would have been very unsatifying. If he is going to die in the movie, let it be something fitting for a character like Bauer....
