Has anyone heard of this site or used it? Looks like it might be a decent games resale site....

Another big shout out to Glyde from me. Sold Halo Reach for more than I originally paid for it, and then purchased Assassin's Creed I and II for $20 total.

Good games, II significantly better than I.

Agreed. II is a lot fun.

I need to look into this Glyde when I get home. I've got 20 plus games I'm never going to play again. If I can get 5-10 bucks for them I'll consider that a W

It's good stuff. I've got a few sales pending, when they're done I should have about $20 in my glyde account, gonna look for something new. I bought Resonance of Fate for a winter time killer...along with the games I still have yet to play through / beat.

2011 is going to be a great year for games, so I'll be using the site often for deals. I wont be able to buy every game for $60.

You looking at anything inparticular? I also have about $25 in my Glyde account that I'm itching to spend...

Currently tackling both Assassin Creeds, and you already know my love of a good FPS. I dunno, maybe a RTS or another RPG that can get me off my Mass Effect 2 hangover?

Well Resonance of Fate is supposedly an excellent JRPG, but I can't give you a first hand opinion yet. It is $19.99 on Newegg shipped, so if you buy it...buy it there and not with Glyde funds.

Valkyria Chronicles I'm enjoying...it would be hard to describe the game...but it is a turn based 3rd person shooter...with the theme of a WWII esque setting. The art style is water colored Anime graphics...and the storyline is cheesy (like all anime)...but the strategy portion of the battles is definitely there, and for about $13 on Glyde it isn't a huge investment. I cannot guarantee everyone would like the style.

If you haven't played Infamous, that is a must buy.

Darksiders is a game I'm considering, it is very cheap on glyde and has gotten excellent reviews all over.

Forgotten Sands is a game that needs to come down in price before I buy, but will definitely do so when that happens.

And FPS doesn't do it for me on consoles, and for PC its the usual suspects.

edit: Sly Cooper Collection as well.

What's the angle behind Infamous? I have heard good things....

Isn't Infamous only on PS3?

It is. I say all this without even knowing which consoles you have.

He just has Virtual Boy and the Jaguar

Did you like Fable? That game was kinda infuriating to me. I have an hour at the end of the day to play a video game. If I try to play for an hour and then come back a couple days later, I forget what I was supposed to do. These kinda games are set up for guys who can spend an entire day in front of the screen. I miss those days.

I really enjoy Fable, and am doing the same with this third installment. I also only have an hour or so to play a game, but knocking out a quest a day isn't too bad. If anything you get your money's worth out of the game, IMO.

It's amazing how my gaming has changed as I've gotten older. That's why FPS are so perfect for me. I can pop in and out of a game if I need to. I remember back to when I played countless hours of Age of Empires online... you can't step away from the computer at all. I just can't do that now because invariably the dog needs to be let out, a kid is waking up with a bad dream, or my wife is asking me to tick off another thing on the Honey Do list.

I really liked Vanquish. Gameplay was awesome. Really frenetic FPS. Looks really pretty even at fast speeds. Weapons are pretty normal (Halo-esque). Visually, if you like Japanese anime at all, it's pretty cool. The story is absolutely horse crap. Play this if you want a unique take on FPS gameplay. If you have a 360, I'll gladly let you borrow it.

Vanquish wins my "Top game that no one played" for 2010. My top game no one played in 2009 was Red Faction:Guerilla.

I thought it was a third-person shooter?

You are correct! My bad... it's an over-the-shoulder Third Person Shooter. Gameplay is one of the most satisfying of third person shooters. Just watch the video... it will give you a really good idea on gameplay.

I found a bunch of old GameCube games while cleaning out a closet and most are in excellent condition with all original instruction booklets, etc. I can't list Metroid Prime, Zelda: Wind Waker, Phantasy Star Online, or Paper Mario. Paper Mario isn't even in their database and the others I get a message saying they cannot sell them at this time. Why is that?

Wow sold 2 games in less than 24 hours - nice! Just wish I could list those other Gamecube games.
